A creation of my daughter!!

My youngest daughter, Brenna, likes to craft.  Sometimes, she will take over the craft room and have a blast cutting with my Cricut.   BTW, the name is Brenna, not Brenda, not Breanne, not Brianna, or any other variation... it is Brenna!!  Can you tell that most people can't (or don't) read and totally mess up her name at the doctor's office, etc.??  Thanks for letting me vent! :)

OK, I'm calm now.  I found a couple of challenges for kids.  This morning, my husband took our son fishing, the older 2 girls are at camp, so she came and played in my craft room.  I asked a few questions about what she wanted to get her going, but she picked out everything and made 2 cards and did everything herself.  So I'll have another post after this one.

The challenge over at Little Hands Challenge #17 is summer and as soon as I told her, she said, "Ice cream!"   We eat a LOT of ice cream in the summer!!
Simon Says Stamp Challenge has a Children's Summer Holiday Challenge and she'll enter that, too.

I can completely understand Brenna's frustration - not only am I "Jessi," a girl, that's my whole name. Not Jessica. Not Jessie, or Jesse, or Jessy. And nothing comes with your name on it...just plain frustrating!
I love the bright colours in the ribbon & ice cream paper - and what a fabulous sentiment: be happy!

Sweet, sweet card! I love he little ice cream cones in the background! I taught a little girl named "Brenna" in my kindergarten class a couple of years the name. I understand how you feel name is spelled "Tanya" and rhymes with "Sonya"...NOT tan-ya. Over the years, I've learned to answer to both versions and some that you wouldn't even! I figure I don't know the people who mangle my name and probably will never see them again anyway!

I completely get where you're coming from. My daughter is Hollyanne. Not Holly, not Holly Ann... Hollyanne.

Anyway, back to Brenna's card - so cute. I love the embossed paper and the silhouette.

You know you're welcome to play along with TMS, you're eligible to win.

I used to work with a woman named Brenna. You're only the second one I've "met"!
