Swing fold anniversary card

I love fun folds in cards but am often not organized enough to make them unless I "have to"!   Easel, stair step, tri-fold, cascading, and criss-cross cards are some that I have made but this is my first swing fold card.  Sometimes called a flip flop card.  I watched a youtube video, made a file for the base in MTC (because my cutter does not have measurements on the cutting bar), and here it is.

I used Doodle Pantry's Cornflower and colored it myself.  This month, the colored version is one of the new releases.  This week  Robyn's Fetish Challenge is more than one fold which Doodle Pantry is sponsoring.

I had also printed out a 'with Sympathy' sentiment to obviously make a sympathy card, but I realized I needed an anniversary card quickly so added 'Happy Anniversary' to the inside instead.  Don't worry!  I don't think these friends even know I have a craft blog so they won't be offended that their card was originally going to be a sympathy card! :)

Pull the sides to see the 'inside' (took this before I added the pearls)

This was fun to make!!  Since then I found directions for using dies and making the edges of the cut decorative! :)  Will have to try that!

Made with scraps, scraps, and more scraps!! :)

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Now I need to go pack... I'm leaving for England next Sunday!! :) :) :)

This is beautiful! The splashes of blue are gorgeous! That's too funny about the last minute sentiment switch - but this card really could be for any occasion. Great job with the design, too. I've never tried a swing fold card.
