Autism awareness card

October is breast cancer awareness month and that is wonderful!!  Keep thinking pink!!!
But it seems that when we become aware of one need, we become aware of others, as well.   I have a friend that has 4 autistic children.  She is such a blessing in the way she deals with these children and looks to the Lord for her strength!!

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #57 and the image is one of Diane's from Daydream Designs.   It is the Hope Endures Digi Set Autism.  It is pre-colored.  (She has several other awareness sets, too!)

I combined a couple of the digis, embossed my cardstock, and tied a ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!!

That's a pretty unique set! Having 2 with autism is enough, I'll tell you - 4 & I might very well be in a straitjacket (who am I kidding, I'm practically there most days anyhow). Love how you pulled the same colours into the background, and that yellow ribbon has such a neat weave!

I'm quite late with this but saw a link under your most recent creation with this being something I might be interested in. What a PERFECT card for your friend! My youngest son has autism and I know the challenges that we face with him. I can't imagine four children on the spectrum! Please let your friend know that a stranger up in Canada has just prayed especially for her and her family. And thank you for creating your card for her. It's fabulous!!
