Joy to the World!!

Christmas is coming!!  (Only 47 days!!)  My oldest has started listening to Christmas music already.  Not all of the rest of the family is ready for it yet, but I love it!  I could hear the carols a million times and never get tired of them!

I love "Joy to the World"!!  Did you know that Isaac Watts wrote it with the second coming of Christ in mind and not His birth?  I think it works for both!!  (And that means we can sing it all year round, right?)

Girl, you just keep turning out one great card after another. I'm trying hard to work on Christmas, too. I so like your image on this card -- nicely colored up -- and the total composition is wonderful.

So beautiful! I love the colours you used, and that nativity is adorable! I'll confess that we've already pulled out the Christmas music at our house, and the kids have been BEGGING to put up the tree - I suspect it has something to do with the enormous amount of snow we've received over the past few days. :)

Gorgeous card!

I didn't know that about Joy to the World either! That's really neat. I must get out the Christmas carols this week too - they always help me get into the creative spirit for Christmas cards!
I love the sweet image, and that layout is perfect to highlight it!

I LOVE this, Debbie! I love the story of the nativity and am so drawn to images of that first Christmas day.

I had never heard that Joy to the World was actually written with the second coming of Christ in mind! Thanks for sharing that tidbit of information.
