Christmas caroling

I got to spent some unexpected time in my craft room this morning but was unable to use my printer, so I made up a quick Christmas card with a digi I already had printed...

The digi is Doodle Pantry Caroling Friends.  I used the sketch from Merry Monday again because it's so 'flat card' friendly!  After trying to mail embellished cards, I realize that this year I need many more flat cards!!

Well, I had fun playing, but now there is work to do!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Fabulous colouring, Debbie. Love the blending on the bird and tortoise. I suppose I need to get started on my Christmas cards too...

Adorable card, Debbie, and I think this sketch is going into my "remember" file. I, too, need to do flat card next year -- spent a small fortune on postage this past Christmas, so MUST rethink my designs (smile). Thank you for sharing this wonderful card and your lovely artwork.

What a sweet image! And let me just tell you my friend, your coloring is so amazing that nothing looks "flat"! You don't need embellishments to create your dimension - it's all there in your amazing technique ♥

Debbie your Christmas card using that Doodle Pantry image is fabulous and I totally agree with the 'flat look' for Christmas cards, cost an arm and a leg up here to mail anything that will not go through the 'slot'. More than doubles in price and gets sent as a parcel..

That image is so cute :) Love the layout too - and I hear you on the flat cards. Now to remember that while we're creating!

This sweet image is just so beautifully colored, Debbie! The card design, colors, and papers are festive and cheerful! You remind me that I need to get started on this year's Christmas cards! And you are so right...flat cards are much less expensive to mail! LOL!

Hi Debbie, thought I would catch up on my Doodle Pantry comments while at your blog for the hop, sorry to say that I didn't realize you also were at Daydream Designs. They have some really cute images! This is such a lovely card, I really love that bg paper. I agree about flat cards, that is my goal for next year.
Now off to see what else I missed.
