Sweet treats!

I'm taking a break from baking caramel corn to write up this post.  {I'm at about my 10th batch for this year -- most for gifts.  Today's is going to my DD's co-workers.}   For a couple of parties recently, I made some treats for everyone.  Our homeschoolers got "Reindeer Noses."  Our printer was having issues, so I could not print out any of the cute sayings for them, but they were pretty cute anyway.

The reindeer is from Create a Critter cut at about 2 1/2".  I cut the largest Spellbinders Labels Eight and folded it over.  Stamped a few snowflakes in white and hand wrote the words (*cringe* I did warn you that the printer was down!).

With the reflection on the bag, it is hard to tell, but there are 8 brown noses -for Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen- and one red nose for Rudolph! :)  They are Whoppers and a Cherry Sour.

 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

For our ladies Christmas fellowship at church, I made peppermint patty snowmen.  I saw them on Pinterest (click HERE to see original) and thought they would be cute.  I also thought they'd be quick and easy.  Nothing is ever as quick and easy as you think it will be!  Especially when you are making 40 of them!! :-P

I used 2", 1 1/2", and 1" punches for the circles.  The edges were rubbed with TH faded jeans.  I made my own hat and nose and cut them in MTC.   The faces are Peachy Keen Assorted faces, but I put a corner of paper down as I stamped so that only the eyes stamped on the face.  The arms are MS branch punch with the lower branches removed.   There is a peppermint patty between the bottom circles.  The original had a bow, too, but I left these to the last minute and didn't have time left that off. ;)

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!!
