Let's celebrate the New Year with a New Release from Doodle Pantry!!!

Best Wishes to you for a Blessed 2014!!!

A new day, a new month, a new year, and a new release from Doodle Pantry!! :)  And I am going to try to be a better blog visitor this year!!  (I do have an excuse for the last couple of weeks!  Read on...)

Laurie had the new sets ready for the DT early in Dec, but we were having printer issues so I planned my card and got everything ready to print and assumed I'd have plenty of time to craft right after Christmas.  Have you ever heard the Bible verse, "Boast not thyself of tomorrow for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth"?   I should have remembered that!  I ended up in the ER for most of Christmas Day, then was admitted and stayed a few in the hospital with a nasty infection.  (I'm sooooo thankful it was not appendicitis as it originally appeared!!!)   I'm still gaining my strength back, but I thought it was really neat that when I planned my card, I used the digi papers and planned to print all my layers except for the bottom layer of cardstock and the extra dog which I fussy cut, so this was a very quick and easy card to put together!  I never do this!  I love all the dimension that "real" layers give, so I have no idea why I planned to print them for this card.  Yes, I do... the Lord knew what was going to happen and He had me all prepared! :)

The extra dog was adhered with glue dots so it just gives a bit more dimension to the image.

I used St Bernard Buddy.  Aren't these doggies adorable???  I used the patterned and solid digi papers and the colored birthday dog.

At Doodle Pantry, you always get great deals and here are this month's bonuses...

Tree Glee is free with purchase Jan 1-24.

Debbie, so sorry to hear about your hospital stay and over Christmas no less. I'll keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery. Your card is adorable. When I read your story and saw the set I thought about using the dog with the red cross and making a get well card. But I love the barkday card too. I just might have to go pick up that set. Too cute. Happy New Year! Hoping 2014 is happy and healthy for you and your family.

Hi Debbie:
Just wanted to say that I am so sorry that you were ill and praying for a speedy recovery. Yes, your right, God does know all things and isn't it amazing how He provides for us even before our time of need comes upon us. He is a good God. I didn't realize that you were a homeschooling mom as well. Cool. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you but I did finally email you back. I trust that you had a great Christmas. Wishing you many blessings in 2014. Hugs.
