Let it snow - TMS #333

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

Yes, I really do mean "let it snow"!!!  After such a warm fall and start to winter, we are having a few very cold days, so now it can snow! ;)

The color is a little better and more true-to-life in this next pic but it's a little blurry.  :/

This fun snowman is saying "let it snow" and I agree with him!   Isn't he cute??

My DP is Recollections Winter Frost.  The snowflake swirl die is CCDesigns Winter Wonderland and the snowflake is from Sweet n Sassy small snowflakes die set.  They are cut out of Splice specialty paper metallic silver.  (I got a stack of this a few years ago and it's about gone.  So sad!  It cuts like butter with dies or my Cricut.) The image is Winter Circle Sentiments - let it snow from Bugaboo... our sponsor for this week's challenge!  Play along for your chance to win 7 Bugaboo images!!!   The image and frame were cut out with Spellbinders Standard Circles.  I used a Gelly Roll glitter pen on the snowflakes and his hat.

For the next few weeks, we are revisiting some of our favorite sketches from 2015.  This week we are using Jessi's choice from last year...

Challenges...
A Snowflake Promise #13 - anything goes winter/Christmas
Crafty Friends #22 - use something new (my DP and snowflake swirl die are new)
Simon Says Stamp Monday - something new (my DP and snowflake swirl die are new)

Gorgeous card. I love those metal embellishments. I really don't mind the snow, as long as we don't lose power for more than a day. Even with all we got last year, we not without power for more than 12 hours so that is pretty good.
hugs,
Teresa

LOL! I know how much you love snow. Gorgeous card. I love the neutral colors. I guess I am ready for a little snow too but it's supposed to warm up again by the weekend and rain again. Looking forward to playing along this week. Happy New Year!

Beautiful card. The metallic elements are great and the snowman very cute. You are right, it should be winter and we could do with some snow. Thanks for joining us at Crafty Friends.

I have to say that I absolutely love winter cards that have the sepia hue to them. It warms them up and makes them feel cozy even though the weather outside may be less than that (except here in FL).

Love that darling snowman, Debbie! Fun layers, and that little popped snowflake is great! So glad you joined us for the Make Something New with Tim Holtz challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge.
