Happy (embossed) Birthday

I've got a birthday card to share today.  This was fun to make!  It has all my favorites... embossing, dies, and inking!

**Be sure to stop over to Inspiration Destination for this week's challenge... the sponsor is Doodle Pantry!! :)  You could win and choose this fun image for your next b'day card. ;)

This image is Birthday Birdie Color Plus from Doodle Pantry.  It is cut out with Spellbinders Circles and Petite Scalloped Circles.  All of the DP is from my scrap box.  The main panel is embossed with Cuttlebug Birthday Wishes EF and inked with TH walnut stain distress ink.  The pink piece was punched with a MS border punch and wrapped with some hemp twine.  The sentiment is from Spellbinders Die D-Lites Sentiments 8 Etched Dies.   It's all pretty basic, but I was pleased with the end result. :)

Challenges...
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards #111 - use a die cut
Die Cut Divas June - anything goes (must use die cut)
Sweet Stamps June - anything goes

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!!

Lovely card! I love the way you've used the embossing folder. I've got that one and am never happy with the way it looks - but LOVE the way your card looks!! The layers are just perfect!

I love this card! The pink lacy border reminds me of paper lace that DOTS had years and years ago. DOTS was who CTMH used to be. Anyway, great card - really love the candles embossing folder, too.
