On your special day - TMS #446

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!  I'm so excited about my card today!!!!  It's my daughter's birthday card.  She is 20, but for years has loved and still loves Beauty and the Beast!  Check this out...

(I added the pic in a huge size so you can see the detail.)

This was really fun to make!!  If you visit regularly, you've probably heard me say I'm using up scraps and already printed images.  {{FYI my 6 month "I'm not buying anymore paper" spree has lasted over 8 mos!}}  In case, you're impressed with my self-control, I must admit I have purchased a few dies with Christmas money, and I did get some black cardstock that I "needed."  ;)
I recently found this Disney Belle Enchanted die and was so excited because, as I said, my daughter loves Beauty and the Beast!!  I came home and began to play with it.  The tiny face stamp is included.  So cute!  I cut it twice in yellow.  I put tape on the back of the second one before taking it out of the die in order to keep the tiny pieces in the skirt.  I cut it in brown, cream, white, and red and trimmed to get the hair, face, dress trim, and rose.

I am SUPER IMPRESSED, both with your wonderful card and your resolve not to buy any new paper/supplies. The Belle die is lovely, and the papers you used for the background make a delightful setting for the beautiful image. I was super impressed with the face (even if it was a stamp, getting it in the "right" place took skill in my opinion). Everything about your card is wonderful!

Debbie this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! All the time and hard work this had to take really paid off. Your daughter is sure to treasure it forever! I saw this Disney line at HL might have to give it a second look now!

What a fantastic card, and I have never seen a die like that. Absolutely perfect for a lover of Belle. What a fantastic masculine card. Love that image. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.

I can feel your excitement in the description of how you made this fabulous card for your daughter's birthday! It's PERFECT for her and I love all those panels behind this fun image that remind me of beautiful cloth! The face on the image is done so well, and I tip my hat to your self-control in not buying more paper! That is NOT easy for a crafter to do!
