Owl always love you - TMS #443

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

Here's a sneak peak at my cute owl card, but before I give details on that, I've got SNOW to show you!

I know winter storm Riley caused some real problems in some areas, and I'm sorry if you were affected by that.  Here, we got snow, snow, snow!!  I love it!!
I went out twice to take pics.  The first time, the snow was almost to the top of my tall boots.  The second time, it was well over my knees.  We got 30" at my house.  (Our church is in the next town with a higher elevation, and we got 39.3" there!  The current forecast is for us to get 10-18" more tomorrow into Thursday from winter storm Quinn!!)

Looking out my front window at 9 AM and then at 4 PM...

Behind my house...

Our mailbox... (The heavy snow bent our bushes down to about half their normal height.  You should not be able to see the roof of my house!)

The brook across the road...

Isn't it beautiful??

Now that I've either made you jealous or thankful that you don't have it, here's the whole card for this week's challenge... :)

This was a really fun card to make!  I'm using up scraps and paper pads with a few sheets left and images printed and colored and waiting, and this card is no exception.   My image is "Owl Always Love You" by Paper Pretties... a shop that's been closed for over 2 years!  (That gives you an idea of how much I've got sitting around!)   I colored this cute little guy with Spectrum Noir markers.  My paper is all Fancy Pants "Summer's End" and all cut with Spellbinders Standard Circles.   Easy peasy, but cute IMHO. ;)

Here's our sketch for the week...

TMS is sponsoring with this set of Spellbinders Crosses Two dies that would be perfect for your Easter cards!!

Wow, look at all that snow! It is beautiful and probably enjoyable so long as you have power and all. I did not know the names of these storms! They just called it the bomb cyclone or something.

Your card is so pretty!

WoW! Now that is some snow. I don't mind a big snow once in awhile...if the power stays on! This time of year they usually melt pretty quickly. Your card is adorable and this is/was a good sketch for using up scraps.

Wonderful card. I really like the color palette and all the bits of paper you've used. I am so glad the snow is not here. In fact, we were having a bit of spring last week but it is turning off chilly again this week. I knew it wasn't going to yet last, but I sure was enjoying it! I'm so NOT a snow/cold weather gal.

You really got hammered with snow where you live! Last Friday we got close to 6" but it was the hard winds that took down so so many big trees and caused power outages in the tri-state area where I live. Here we are facing now a possible 16" of snow by tomorrow night with yet again high winds. The last I heard 14,000 folks are still without power from last week's storm. Your snow photos are lovely, but I enjoy snow in photos more than in real life :) Sitting in the dark with no heat is not fun! LOL Your little owl card is too cute and I like the circles of dsp you used! That's cute how the sentiment is the branch the owl is perched on :)

Wow to the snow, I live in sunny SC (or at least for the most part) but what you see out your windows would completely shut us in and down! Your card is lovely and such nice colors and prints for carrying out your owl theme.

I'm jealous - I miss snow days. They were always so fun when my kids were younger - game days, hot chocolate and crafting.

Your card is super cute - love the owl, he's so adorable. I like the papers, too.
