Sewing thanks - TMS #444

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!   My card this week was fun to make.  I love to sew but have not done a lot in the past several years.  My tailor's dummy gets used more often as a prop in our Christmas play than it does its intended purpose! LOL

Supplies:
~Crate Paper "Pretty Party" DP
~Tim Holtz "Blueprint Assortment" cling stamp image
~Tim Holtz "Saying Stuff" cling sentiment
~CottageCutz Stitches Rectangles
~Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics
~Spellbinders Lacy Pennants
~Poppystamps Stitched Buttons
~AC ribbon

Here's our sketch for this week...

TMS is sponsoring this week with a full size white pigment ink pad from CC Designs.

Challenges...
Creative Knockouts #236 - dies and/or punches
Use Your Stuff #303 - die cuts
Tuesday Throwdown #383 - use buttons (I hope die cut buttons count!)

Oh this is the perfect sketch to use buttons! Looks great with your dress form image. And you had the perfect DP to go with it. Great job!!

I really like the papers you chose for this card. The one on the right reminds me of those old dress patterns we used and the buttons work perfectly too! Great take on the sketch!

Wow, you must be quite the seamstress (when you can) to have your own tailors dummy Debbie!! I love how absolutely perfect ever element goes together from the buttons to the patterned paper!!

So happy you could work those buttons into the Tuesday Morning Sketch. They work well with the card theme and make it a perfect addition to this week's Tuesday Throwdown Challenge, too. Thanks for sharing this great card. Good luck. Hugs, Debi TT DT

This card is so pretty and you'll never guess that my mom used to have a dress form that was exactly this color. It looked just like this one without the wire bottom. Very cool!
