You're in my thoughts - C4G #273

 Hi!  It is time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Spring has been officially here for a couple of weeks, but out weather obviously missed the memo!  We'll have a warm spring day one day, and the temp drops 40 degrees (F) the next! :P 

All that to say that our theme is "spring flowers."  Let's make it look like spring at least! LOL

My flowers are Spellbinders Roses and Thorns.  I inked them ever so lightly.  My sentiment is from Poppystamps Art Deco Birthday Greetings.  It is a little hard to see in the pic, but I scored the bottom of my panel every 1/8" below the flowers.  I was inspired by this card...

Happy Christmas Gnome - SCC #183

 Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  This month our theme is "elves or gnomes."  This is a fun theme, but I realized I do not have any elf or gnome stamps or dies. :/  

So I made a gnome... 

I adhered a layer of vellum over my paper to tone down the colors a bit.  And as I said, I made my own gnome.  The beard is made with mulberry paper that I brushed out to look like a beard.  I hand cut his hat and used little circles leftover from a cover plate die for his nose and pompom on the hat.  My sentiment is from my "extras" box...  I think it's an old digi from From the Heart Stamps.

Thinking of you - C4G #271

 Hi!  It is time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  I got to choose the theme for this challenge, and as I LOVE all forms of embossing, that's our theme.  Dry embossing or heat embossing, we want to see it all.  I used both on my embossed card...

Spring is coming, so I wanted something fun and bright.  I dry embossed the yellow polka dot panel with Spellbinders Poinsettias 3D embossing folder.  With the bright colors and inking, you might not have noticed that my flowers were poinsettias.  We can use all sorts of our supplies for things other than their intended purpose. :)  I fussy cut one of the extra flowers and popped it up. 
My heat embossed/die cut sentiment is Creative Worship Script Sentiments.

Snowman wishes - SCC #182

 Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  Our theme is snowman or snowmen or snowpeople if you want to be politically correct. ;)  

Here's my snowman...

This cool guy is a FTHS digi that I found and colored.  I cut him out with Echo Park Stitched Squares. My sentiment is from a set so old that I don't have the name anymore, but I thought the fun font fit well with this fun snowman.  The snowflake is cut from silver paper.  It is the center of an ornament from Echo Park Snowflake Ornament Trio.

 Hi!  It is time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Our theme is "wings-butterflies, birds, fairies, etc."  

My card has butterflies, but it's unfortunately not a fun, cheery card.  That's what I had planned to make, but I needed sympathy cards.  

My sentiment is JustRite Sympathy Handwritten Sentiment.  The butterfly is Tim Holtz Detailed Butterflies.  The butterfly and paper strip are DCWV Mariposa.  A few adhesive dots finished it off.

Hi!  It is time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Our theme - probably because Valentine's Day is coming up - is "hugs and kisses."  

My image is a Sweet Pea digi from stash.  The sentiment is Die-versions I Love You with Sizzix Thinlits Essential Type "x" and "o."  The BG panel is DCWV Love & Wedding paper.  The flower is from my stash.

 Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  Our theme is "baubles" for this challenge.  

Here's my card...

My ornaments cut with Echo Park Snowflake Ornament Trio were dry embossed with CB Swiss Dots, Crackle, and CB Heritage.  I added the bows with Poppystamps Little Bow and Strong.  My heat embossed sentiment is Sweet n Sassy (now Creative Worship) Little Christmas Tags.  The BG panel is Hobby Lobby Wintergreen paper.

 Hi!  It is time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  For this challenge, we want to see "pink flowers" on your card.  

Life is hard, but God is good, and it is always good to hear that someone is praying for you, so I made this card for someone hurting.  

My verse and sentiment are more of my printed-and-waiting-to-be-used stash, so I'm not sure where they are from.  My flowers are The Ton Peony Memories Cardmaking layered set.

i miss you - C4G #267

 Happy New Year to you!!  It is time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  This time our theme is "country scape."  Mine is not technically a country scape, but I have seen this in the country, and I would enjoy sitting here enjoying the scenery around me! ;) 

I have a box with soooo many digital stamps that I printed but have never used, so I was happy to find this one for this card.  It's an image from Doodle Pantry.  I cut it with CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles, then inked the edges to try to match the color of the image.  My sentiment is Die-versions Everyday Complements. I added the image and sentiment to a panel cut from the same die and added a few Prima flowers.

Peace & Joy - SCC #180

 Happy New Year 2026!!  It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  I hope you had a blessed Christmas season and aren't too worn out to be thinking of Christmas cards again! LOL

Our first theme of the year is "animals and trees."  Here is my card with a horse (aka animal) and evergreens (aka trees)... :) 

I inked my background using a circle mask for the moon.  I splattered some white paint then stamped and heat embossed my image and sentiment which are from Creative Worship Old-Fashioned Christmas.
