Hi!  It is time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  This time, we want you to add an animal to your card.

Here is mine...

I have not used a sticker in YEARS, but since I didn't bring all of my craft supplies when I moved, I bought some stickers (from Walmart!) for this challenge.  My sentiment is The Project Bin Just Sayin'.  Very simple, but still cute.

JOY - SCC #189

Hello!  My last several posts have been prescheduled since I was moving.  I am still in the settling in stage, but I unpakced a small amount of crafting supplies and got to it. :)

It's time for our new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  This month, the theme is Red and Green.  These are my go-to colors for Christmas, so this was fun for me...

My "JOY" is Poppystamps Joy.  The paper is Scrapbook.com Nutcracker.  I put a vellum panel behind the sentiment cut with Kat Scrappiness Wonky Wavy Stitched Rectangles.   The bow is Poppystamps Grosgrain Bow.

We'd love to have you come play along at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Sweet holiday greetings - SSC #188

Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  Our theme for this challenge is "How sweet it is!"  Here's my "sweet" card...

This was really easy peasy!!  I stamped the candy cane all over my panel.  It and sentiment are both from Clear Dollar Stamps Treats For My Sweet.  A little inking on the edges and a few dots finished it off.

We'd love to have you come play along at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Poinsettia greetings - SSC #187

Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  Our theme is clean and simple.  I have to admit that this is one of the most difficult for me to make, but I think I was able to create a card with lots of white space. :)

My panel was embossed with Spellbinders Scenic Poinsettia 3D embossing folder.  My poinsettia is Poppystamps Delicate Poinsettias.  My sentiment is Raisin Boat Formal Phrases.

We'd love to have you come play along at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!

Thinking of you friend - C4G #281

Hi!  It is time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Our theme for this challenge is a word inspiration - "rainbow."  Here's my rainbow background...

I created this background with my TH distress oxide inks... barn door, ripe persimmon, mowed lawn, mustard seed, stormy sky, and dusty concord.  I wiped a strip of each color on my glass mat, then spritzed it all with water, mixed it gently with a paint brush, then laid my water color paper on it.  I dried it with my heat gun, then stamped my images and sentiment with Raisin Boat Oops A Daisy and --very important-- left it in my MISTI.   I was inspired by this technique from Sasha Reade, so I then colored the flowers with a white acrylic paint pen which is opaque.  After that dried, I restamped the flowers.  That's why it's important to leave it in the MISTI.
I love the look of this technique, so now I need to get more colors of acrylic paint pens!!  Be sure to check out Sasha's video.

We'd love to have you come play along at Cardz 4 Galz!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Friends are the best medicine - C4G #280

Hi!  It is time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Out theme for this challenge is "friendship"!

My sentiment (and the title of the post) say "Friends are the best medicine" and that is 100% true!!  My best friend and I live in different countries, and often quite a bit of time passes between visits as well as phone calls, but the minute we connect, we pick up as if we had just spoken yesterday.  And while we share about our lives and the trials we may be facing, we laugh and laugh and laugh together!!  So thankful for her!

My flower is a digi from MHKDesigns.  My sentiment is Hampton Arts Vintologie Occasions.  That's it!  Simple, but fun.

We'd love to have you come play along at Cardz 4 Galz!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
