Happy Birthday - TMS #726

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I've got a pretty simple birthday card to share this week...

I used a couple of scraps of Heidi Grace Daydream DP.  My banner is CC Designs Corner Banner die.   My image is DRS Designs Dogwood Branch and the sentiment is DRS Designs Small One Line Happy Birthday.  I colored 2 images and fussy cut the larger flowers (and yes, I know dogwoods are not blue!) and layered them to give a little dimension.

Here's our sketch... (I put the banner too high, so my card is a little off, but shhhhh!)

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to go check out the creations from the TMS DT...

Fun folds for Christmas - SCC #135

Happy April 1st!! I won't even try to have a funny April Fool's joke. ;)

It's time for Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  Our theme this month is fun folds.  I really like fun/fancy folds though I don't make them often.  So a challenge like this helps me.  I made a pinwheel tower card...

It stands up well.

I made one main panel, but...

you can decorate all the sides.

Even with all the layers that make it stand up well and all the sides decorated, it still fits in an A2 envelope.  (There are lots of tutorials for pinwheel tower cards on YouTube.)  This was fun and easy to make!

My paper is some more of the leftover pages from some Christmas pads.  My car is clipart from Creative Fabrica.  The "cool Christmas" sentiment is from MFT Cool Christmas.  The other is Sum More Fun Tangled Tinsel.  The fancy die cut is CC Designs Winter Wonderland.  And I added a few snowflakes from an old tiny punch.

Please come play along at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #208

Good morning to you!   Time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch!!   We've got a great sketch and a great sponsor, so please come and play along with us!!

Our sponsor this week is CC Designs...

Our sketch is an older one we are revisiting...

Here is my card...

Supplies...

~DCWV 'birthday wishes' DP

~'Girly Girl Cookie' stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy

~Spectrum Noir markers

~Spellbinders Ovals and Petite Scalloped Ovals

~MS border punch

~button and twine from stash

After getting this together, I regret using the birthday DP because though this would work for a birthday card, I doubt I'll use it for that.  Speaking of birthdays, our oldest turns 17 on Thursday!  I just can't believe it!!   My kids are growing up waaaaaay too quickly for me!

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to go check out the creations from the rest of our DT...

Tuesday Morning Sketches #204

Happy Tuesday to you!  Time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

This week our sponsor is CC Designs.  Play along for your change to win!!

Our wonderful sketch this week is by Laura...

The sketch was perfect for embossing!!   :)  Of course, I think any sketch is great for embossing!

My image is Crazy for Cupcakes  and the sentiment is Birthday Balloons sentiment 2; both are from Paper Pretties.

Can you believe it??  No DP!!  I used Cuttlebug Birthday Bash and Spots and Dots embossing folders on my Cutmates Bubblegum cardstock and cut my image with Spellbinders Circles and Scalloped Circles.

Thanks for stopping by!  Our vacation is over this Friday, so this is my last scheduled post.  By next week, I'll be "live" again and will be visiting and commenting again!

Be sure to go check out the creations from the rest of our DT...
