get well soon - C4G #241

Welcome back to our first Cardz 4 Galz challenge of 2025!  Our theme is "use stencils."  I've always admired how I see other crafters use stencils but was never overly pleased with my cards... but I really like this one!

I used The Craft Workshop Mini Music Sheet first, then Altenew Sweet Spring over it.  My sentiment is Sweet n Sassy Script Sentiments.  A few enamel dots finished it off.

Maybe you got some crafting goodies for Christmas, so get them out and play along with us at Cardz 4 Galz!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Feel better soon - TMS #780

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Here's my card for this week's challenge...

This was my third version.  The first ended up in the trash, the second was taken apart, and finally I was ok with this one.
My paper is Carta Bella Fall Fun.  My image is JustRite Chicken Soup Labels Four.  It was cut with Spellbinders Labels Four as were the banner elements.   My sentiment is The Project Bin Defined.

Here's the sketch...

Cancer is so limited - TMS #754

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Here is my card...

My paper was a scrap.  The sentiment is from My Time Made Easy "Be Supportive."  I cut it with CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  I then cut it apart so I could add the "praying" sentiment  across it without covering any.  The "praying" is a digital sentiment of which I have many printed.  I inked it after cutting it out with Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fishtail Banners.

Here's our sketch...

My DP is Crate Paper (weirdly, there is no name on the 12x12 pad).  My flowers are Technique Tuesday Cosmos.  The sentiment is Raisin Boat Flourishing Thoughts.  The tag is SSS Tiny Tags.

Feel better - TMS #592

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

This card uses a stamp set that I’ve not used in a very, very, very long time!  I’m really trying to use what I have and not buy more craft supplies (though it’s hard!!), so I’m going through my stash (much of which is still in boxes) and finding forgotten gems.  Here’s one...

This stamp set is JustRite Chicken Soup which matches and is cut out with Spellbinders Labels Four.  My DP is Papertrey Ink “Postmarks.”  My tic-tac-toe is MFT Die-namics Stitched RicRac.  With the large dots, I left off the tiny circles.

Here’s the sketch...  (This is Patti’s favorite.)

Need a hug? - TMS #490

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Today, I've got cards to show you... lots of cards!

You're probably tired of seeing "I used another printed and waiting image" but there is still more... many more!!  (I do not know why I printed so many of this!!)  They were all pre-colored, so no need to compliment my coloring. :D

Five cards altogether...

My paper is Pebbles Garden Party.  My dies are Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics, CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles, and Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fishtail Banners.  My image and sentiment are Doodle Pantry... DP's been closed for a couple of years, so you know how long I've had these images!   Flowers, ribbon, twine, and brads are all from my stash.

Challenges... (my first card)
Happy Little Stampers Feb - anything goes with dies
Dragonfly Journeys #134 - gaga for gingham

Here's our sketch... (I mirrored it.)  This is Lori's favorite pick from last year...

Quick recovery

Happy Wednesday to you!   I've got a card for a friend wishing a quick recovery... unfortunately, my making and sending wasn't as quick as it should have been!   But I got it finished, and it's in the mail today!

The friend had surgery, not an accident, but I think he'll enjoy this.   My image and sentiment are Doodle Pantry's Boo-boo Birdie & Ants.  My DP is Graphic 45 Come Away With Me and is distressed with my Distrezz It All.  The image is cut out with Die-Versions Stitched Nesting circles and framed with Spellbinders Classic Circles.  The sentiment is cut with Sizzix Framelits Banners #2.

Today, Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Fab 'n' Funky's challenge with a theme of "things with wings" so pop over and play along!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!!

Wishing you a quick recovery

I've got a get well card to share today...

It was pretty quick and simple to put together.  Then, of course, I realize I had mismeasured, so it wasn't the proper size for the card base. :/  I didn't want to mess it up by pulling it apart, so I left it.
The colored image is Doodle Pantry's Mini Rose Pot Color Plus and the sentiment is from Boo-boo Birdie & Ants.  These were cut using Spellbinders Circles and Petite Ovals.  The DP is Prima Something Blue.

Challenges...
Creative Moments #89 - anything goes
Crafty Girls Creations #17 - anything goes
Fab 'n' Funky #297 - flowers

Fuschia & Hummingbird - Outline

Fuschia & Hummingbird - Colored

Well Wishes - outline

I used the outline of "Well Wishes" for my card...

I had intended to make a birthday card and was sure I printed the b'day sentiment, but as I'm making the card, all I can find is the 'get well wishes' I had printed, so I made a get well card! :)

It is also available in color...

Well Wishes - color

Butterfly Wishes JPG and PNG

Golfer Guy JPG and PNG

I used the "Golfer Guy" outline...

I used my Spectrum Noir markers on both images.  ALL of my DP on both cards was scraps!!  :)   I added a bit of ribbon and twine, and some adhesive pearls.

Bunny Wabbit "Get Well" card

I have a few digi stamps that I printed awhile ago and have not used.  This little guy was hiding out in that pile.   I thought he looked a little sad so thought he'd be great for a get well card.   Almost everything I make has a more girly look to it, so I tried to keep this one neutral/masculine.

Challenge...

~Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder
~CM corner rounder

"Heard you caught a bug" get well card

Ladybugs... that is the theme for this week at BBTB2.
I used to think they were so cute.  But where we live, there are so many, many, many of them because of the farms.  They are everywhere!!  So live ladybugs just bug me now.  But all is not lost... there are many cute ones on carts including this one from Doodlecharms.   So this wasn't too traumatic for me. :-)

The inside is stamped 'feel better soon'!

~ Jar from DC cut at 2 1/2"
~ Ladybug from DC cut at 1"
~ Basic Grey Recess patterned paper

"Get Well Soon" -Cricut Cardz challenge #62

This week's Cricut Cardz challenge #62 is to make a card using a cup image from any cartridge.  To check it out click here.
Mine came from A Child's Year.  I'm happy with this because it could be used for a man as well.  Most 'get well' cards tend to be frilly.

What I used:
~Me & My Big Ideas patterned paper
~Bazzill cardstock
~cup from ACY cut at 3 3/4 and 4 since there is no shadow feature
~'get well soon' from Beyond Birthdays cut at 1 1/2" and blackout shadowed
~grossgrain ribbon

Thanks for looking!!!
