Christmas Blessings - TMS #701

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Here's my card,,,

I went pretty simple with our fun sketch.  A piece of Recollections Portobello Road DP, "wreaths" made with Impression Obsession Scribble Circles, Poppystamps Grosgrain Bow die, and sentiment from Sunny Studios Christmas Chapel.

Here's the sketch...

Tulip thank you - C4G #195

Hi, and welcome to my blog!  Today is another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Since spring has officially started this week, our theme is "spring flowers."  In my area, the crocuses and daffodils have bloomed and passed, and tulips are on their way.  I have some tulips to share...

My image/sentiment is Tulip Thank You from Bugaboo Stamps.  The paper is from my scrap box, and I created a bow with twine from my stash.

Come and play along with us at Cardz 4 Galz and show us your spring flowers!
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Books - TMS #700

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Here's my card...

My image and sentiment are Altenew Tall Tale.  My paper is a mix of PTI Dotty Biscotti and Pebbles Garden Party.  It all looks a bit dull in the picture, but IRL it's bright and cute. The banners are cut with Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fishtail Banners.

Here's our sketch.  It's actually one of mine, and as I'm putting it together, I realize that I cut my sentiment in the wrong orientation.  Oh well!

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to go check out the creations from the TMS DT...

God calms His child - TMS #699

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This week, I've made several cards similar to this one.  So many hurting hearts!  But we have a great God Who wants to walk with us through every trial.

I realized after preparing my post that the glare kind of messes with the sentiment.  Too late for another picture.  It's been sent.

That awesome sentiment is Sweet n Sassy Stamps Calms His Child.  It's heat embossed with WOW! Super Fine Ebony EP.  The striped paper is Basic Grey Granola.  The brown panel is cut with Kat Scrappiness Wonky Wavy Stitched Rectangles.  The washi is the Paper Studio.

Here's our sketch...

Praying for you - C4G #194

Happy Thursday to you!  It's time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Our theme for this challenge is "use vellum"!  Here's my card...

I had the panel embossed with Darice Dot BG sitting on my desk.  Shiplap Siding stencil from Honey Bee Stamps was also on my desk.  I am trying to organize, and my ink pads were also close by, so I put all 3 together to make the BG panel.  My flower is The Ton Peony Memories Cardmaking.  I colored some vellum green and cut out the Spellbinders Foliage leaves.  I heat embossed the sentiment from The Project Bin Defined on vellum.   I need to lay my card under something heavy for awhile because I had it all together and realized I needed to heat the sentiment some more and it warped the card a little. :/  But overall, it's very pretty, IMHO! ;)

Please come and play along with us at Cardz 4 Galz!!
Thanks for sopping by and have a blessed day!

Hello, hello, hello... - TMS #698

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  And it's time for our first new sketch of the year!!  It's a fun one, but first, here's my card...

We often remind our challenge players that a shape is just a suggestion and to feel free to use what they want.  I often change things up, but I wanted to follow this sketch very closely.  However... I could not find my hexagon die!!!  Grrrrrr!  Wondering what shape to use, I came across a stamp and die set on my table and thought it might work, so I rotated the sketch, and voilĂ !

The small hello is from Honey Bee Stamps Framed Anemones.  The large hello is from an unbranded set that I got years ago on a daily craft deal site.  I dry embossed the back panel with CB Honeycomb.  All the papers were from my scrap box.

Here's the sketch that I wish I could have been able to follow exactly...

A "warm" thank you - SCC #146

Happy March 1st!  Spring arrives this month!! And my card is Christmas-y because it's time for Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  Our theme is "Warm winter clothes" so show us your mittens, scarves, hats, sweaters, etc.

While not technically a Christmas card, this is a Christmas thank you card...

I thought of making the card in the shape of the mitten, but wanted more space, so put it on a BG for a regular A2 card.  My paper is AC Jack Frost.  I cut navy cardstock with Papertray Ink Mitten Die.  It is embossed with Sizzix 3-D Sweater by Eileen Hull.  I wanted the cuff to look different, so I ran it through my Fiskars crimper.  (That's something I had not used in a million years!)  The branches are a MS punch.  The sentiment is My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet Occasions.  It's cut out with SSS Tiny Tags.  I added a few red adhesive dots and a twine bow.

Please come join us at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
