I'm here for you - TMS #472

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Here's my card for this week...

This image is ADORABLE!!!  It's Di's Digis "Teddy Swing."  It's colored with Spectrum Noir markers and cut out with CottageCutz Stitched Circles.  The sentiment was in the pile on my desk, so I'm not sure where it's from.  I used MS branch punch for the branches.

Here's our sketch...

Challenges...
Sweet Stampin' - dies/punches
Crafty Gals Corner #174 - 3+ layers
The Paper Shelter #354 - sentimental

It Is Well - TMS #471

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

For this card, I stamped the verse from Sweet n Sassy Hymn Blocks on watercolor paper with Versamark and heat  embossed with white.  I then sponged on TH  stormy sky distress ink.  I was trying for a more mottled look, but this is what I ended up with.  The DP is the Paper Studio the Linen Door.  My die cut is Darice Swirl Scroll die.

Here's the sketch for this week...

Hello! - TMS #470

9/11 -- Today is the 17th anniversary of that horrific day.  May we never forget the lives lost nor the need to continue to stand for freedom!  {{If you are ever in NYC, please take time to visit the 9/11 Memorial!!}}

Here's my card for this week's challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

My flowers are a colored image from Doodle Pantry that's been sitting on my table awhile.  It's cut out with CottageCutz Stitched Circles.  My DP is the Paper Studio the Linen Door.  The "hello" is from an unbranded set of several words that I got from some deal of the day place awhile back.  The dark panel was cut with an unbranded rectangle set then the end cut with the same circle to fit the sketch.

Here's our sketch for the week...

Masculine birthday - TMS #469

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I've got a bright and fun masculine birthday card for you today.  Masculine cards are always a challenge for me.  I feel like they turn out either too dark and dull or too feminine. *shrug* I suppose this could be given to a lady, but it definitely seems masculine enough for a man.

The truck is a colored digi from Fred, She Said.  My DP is the Paper Studio Linen Door.  The scribbled circle is Impression Obsession Scribble Circles die.  The almost hidden border is a MS punch.  My sentiment is a TH cling stamp.  The red adhesive dots are the Paper Studio.  I'm happy with how this turned out.  For once, my pic is decent, but this looks even better IRL. :)

Challenges...
Love to Scrap #113 - anything goes
Love to Craft #26 - Sept anything goes
Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Sept - must use patterned paper
Always Happy Birthday Sept - always happy birthday

That card above was actually the second card I made... after making the one below, I decided to try again because I wasn't happy with the die I'd used for the squiggly element (see sketch below) plus I missed an element!  Also, it came out looking so dark in the pic. :/

This one was quick and easy.  I used a verse printed and waiting, scrap paper, and a bit of ribbon from my scrap box.  The cross stitch rectangles and little flower are from Cheapo Dies.

So here's the sketch...

And our prize this week is a pack of green, blue and red glitter brush pens by Arto....
