Snowman Christmas - CCC #7

Happy Sunday to you!  I pray you're having a blessed day!!

It's time for Christmas Card Challenges.  I've got a happy snowman wishing you "Merry Christmas" today...

This was a fun and rather simple card to make.  I colored my image...  From the Heart Stamps "Rejoice Snowman" with Spectrum Noir markers, trimmed around his bottom, and cut him our with CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  I cut my 3 hills (scrap paper) with Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes dies.  The background panel is Carta Bella "Let It Snow" DP and embossed with Sizzix Snowflakes EF.   Some heavy thread and a snowflake brad finished him off. 

Our challenge this week at Christmas Card Challenges #7 has the optional twist of color.  The only real rule is that you make a Christmas/holiday card...

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!   Since our temps are way above normal and all our snow is melting (*sobs*), I've got a rather spring-like card for you...

My image is Ladybug Branch from Sami Stamps.  It's colored using Spectrum Noir markers and cut out using Die-Versions Stitched Nesting Circles and the frame is Spellbinders Standard Circles.  My paper is Paper Crate Flea Market.   My sentiment is Raisin Boat.   The lace and enamel dots are from my stash.

This little piggy...

So... have you ever made a card for a couple of challenges and then forgot about it??  That's what happened to me.  I made it last evening, but just remembered it... with about 30 minutes to spare.  Lots of time!! ;) 

Here's my card...

Sorry... I forgot to take a pic of the inside!!!!   It says, "Happy Birthday."  I used a Raisin Boat clear sentiment.  (I'll try to take a pic and update my post.)

My image is From the Heart Stamps Hogs and Kisses Pigwit.  He's printed on Kraft and colored with Spectrum Noir markers and cut out using Spellbinders Standard Circles.  My DP is Paper Crate Flea Market.  My flourish is Darice and the enamel dots are Recollections.

Happy Tuesday to you!  And Happy Valentine's Day!   Whether you go for the roses and candy and cards or not, be sure to tell your loved ones that you love them!  Of course, you should be doing that EVERY day of the year!!!  Several times a day, IMHO! ;)

It is Tuesday, so it's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!   I've actually got 2 cards today.  Here's the first...

My paper, vellum, and ribbon were all from my scrap boxes.  :)  My heart is Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Hearts.  The "I Love You" is  Die-Versions Sweet Wordlets.   It's not visible in the pic, but the "I Love You" paper shimmers.

Dashing through the snow - CCC #6

Happy Sunday to you!  For those of you here in the Northeast, stay warm through this snow storm we're getting!!  (I must admit I'm happy with forecast of several inches!)

Here's my card for today's Christmas Card Challenges #6...

My image and sentiment are "Old-Fashined Christmas" from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  I stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with Recollections Ebony embossing powder.   I masked a moon and inked with TH faded jeans.  I inked the trees with TH peeled paint.  (Wasn't totally thrilled with the trees... too much ink, IMHO.)  My DP is Carte Bella "Snow Fun" and my ribbon, twine, and button are from my stash.

Swinging Snowman

Yay!!  Our forecast is for SNOW tomorrow!!!  :)   Maybe we'll be able to make a big snowman!  :)

My card for this week...

I love this sweet image!!  It's called "Love Is" from All Dressed Up.  It's colored with my Spectrum Noir markers.  My ombre dotted paper is Crate Paper "Flea Market."  All panels are cut out using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics.   The wooden flower was from a clearance bin somewhere.
