Annual Anything Goes - TMS #434

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!  BUT... this week is our Annual Anything Goes so you don't even have to follow a sketch!  It's truly anything goes!

TMS is sponsoring and although I don't have a picture, the prize is a Hampton Arts Stamp Tool and a pillow box punch board by We R Memory Keepers.  There may be some fun embellishments and paper in the prize box, too.  That'll have to be a surprise!
**Note that for this challenge, you may only combine it with 2 other challenges to be eligible for our prize.**

**This Anything Goes challenge will be open for 2 weeks, then we're taking a week off, and will be back with our next challenge on January 9, 2018**

I did not follow a sketch... I did not even use any paper in my project that I'm sharing this week!  I made wreaths for my kitchen.  I apologize in advance... this post is very pic-heavy!

I pinned this pin last year and wanted to hang wreaths on my cabinet doors.  Do you know how difficult impossible it is to find 6" green wreaths??!??  I finally gave up and bought grapevine wreaths.   Here's what my kitchen looks like... (more pics and "instructions" below)

Here's a closeup of a wreath...

I started out with all of this... wreaths, a couple large Christmas stems, ribbon, and glue dots (because I could not find my glue gun).  I got it all for less than $15 because of Michaels' door buster specials! :)

I cut the berries from the stem to the size I wanted...

Then I glued them on... (I put 2 on each.)

For the ribbon, I formed a double bow with tails then took a separate piece of ribbon and tied it on to the wreath between the berries.

I cut my hanging ribbon all the same length, adhered one end inside the cabinet (over the door), put it through the wreath, and fastened the second end.

I wish you all a very Merry CHRISTmas!!!

A bunch of Christmas cards!

As promised, here are "a few" cards I've made but hadn't posted.  Enjoy!

I love dies and this Merry Christmas die from Pink and Main is a favorite!!

See? I inserted the die cut into the paper.

This layered poinsettia die is from Darice.  I bent the flowers slightly between my fingers for a bit of dimension.

This one is absolutely gorgeous IRL!!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I also love pretty stamps!  This is "Old Fashioned Christmas" from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.

This stamp is from Raisin Boat and I used several shades of Hampton Arts ink.  I loved how this turned out!  Going to experiment with more.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

From my scrapbooking days (I'd love still do it, but time....!), I have lots of stickers, so created some cards with them.

And just one more highlighting a large punch...

I hope you enjoyed seeing them!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Floral thank you - TMS #433

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

For once, it's not a Christmas card! LOL  (As I said yesterday, I may write a post to share a bunch that I've made but not posted yet.)

My card was made using All Dressed Up Jam Jars image.  I printed it on vellum and placed it behind the opening so that the adhesive would not show.  {{Do any of you know of a vellum adhesive that doesn't show??  Any I've tried still do.}} I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers.  My paper is Authentique Latest & Greatest.  I used Spellbinders Petite Ovals and Petite Scalloped Ovals for the frame.  My flower is Petaloo.  The branches are a MS punch.  The enamel dots are out of their pkg, so I'm not sure where they are from.  The sentiment {I think} is one I got from Operation Write Home.

This week's sponsor is All Dressed Up...

Here's our wonderful sketch by Janice...

♪ ♫ All is calm, All is bright ♫ ♪

I was trying to have enough handmade cards that everyone would get one this year, but unfortunately, about 30 people will still get store bought.  :(  Maybe next year, because I'm done for this year.  (Maybe soon I'll have a post with several I made last week.)  Anyway, I was making multiples near the end to try to get enough and I loved this adorable singing mice image and made 6 of the same, but they're all different.  See?

My image is the colored version of Di' Digis "Singing Mice."  I printed it 3 times on white CS and 3 times on Kraft.   I cut them out with CottageCutz Double Stitched Ovals.  The BG and banner papers are the Paper Studio "Old World Winter."  The fishtails are the banners from Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants.  My sentiment is Momenta and stamped with Versafine Black Onyx.

Here are all the "varieties"! :)

See? The same, yet different. ;)

Christmas landscape - TMS #432

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

A Christmas card for you today.  Yes, I'm still making and sending them. (Probably will be for awhile yet!)

This week, our sponsor is We Are 3 digital shop.

Thanks, Bonnie, for providing us with images, paper, and sentiments!!  I used Color Me Christmas digital paper (It should be more aqua, but this is how my printer printed it.), Birds of a Feather (colored version), and Christmas sentiment -- sadly, that sentiment is hidden.  I printed it on the digital paper, and it was printed straight, but I guess I let the paper slip when I cut the panel. :/ So I stamped a sentiment and cut it out with CottageCutz Double Stitched Ovals.  The "mountains" are Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes.  The branches are a MS punch.

Here's our fun sketch for this week...  I can't wait to see how everyone interprets it!!

Come And Get It - Christmas
Glitter n Sparkle #268 - anything goes

It Is Well With My Soul

Sympathy cards.  I do not ever want to have to make them and really dislike making them, but on the other hand, I do enjoy it.  Only because I want them to be a blessing for the recipient.  I want them to know I care and am thinking of them and praying for them, so I often put more care into a sympathy card than another kind of card, but I've had to make too many recently!  The card I'm sharing today is one that a lot of love and effort went into.  It was made for a college friend who lost her husband after a great physical battle resulting from a stroke.  Too young!  Too soon!  But God had a plan, and their whole family was such a sweet testimony of God's strength and grace through it all.  Often in her updates on his condition, she often shared a song and what it had meant to her that day.

When I saw Sweet n Sassy Stamps' Hymn Blocks set, and I knew I wanted to get it and would use it often, so I ordered it.  When I needed to make her family a card, I knew I needed to use that set.   It has phrases from 6 songs, but I used "It Is Well."

I made it into an easel card...
