Doodle Pantry flowers

When I print a digital image, I always add enough images to fill my entire 8 1/2 x 11 sheet.  That gives me some extras for quick cards using the pre-colored digis, or some images to color up as I have the time.

I love all the flower images from Doodle Pantry!  I have several cards that I've not posted yet, so thought today would be a good day to show them to you... these are all pre-colored digis, so please don't compliment me on my coloring!! :)

For this one I used Tall Tulip and Bottles & Jars

 This set is Texas Dogwood

Obviously not a flower!  This is Bluejay.  The sketch is Mojo 287, but I missed the deadline. :/

The next two both use a Calla lily from Lily Collection COLOR Plus.   I LOVE Calla lilies!!!  I think they are the most beautiful of all the flowers God created!!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

"Hello (and a) cupcake!"

I don't usually combine posts, but I will tonight since I have a birthday card and a "hello" card to show you.

This card was made for Imagine That... digis by Kris: Freebie Challenge #5.

I used a piece of DP from DCWV All About Boys (shhh! don't tell this little girl!), my corner rounder, Spellbinders Labels, ribbon and clip from my stash, and the digi and sentiment from Kris.

My second card is a birthday card...

My digi cupcake is from Daydream Designs (no longer in business), the DP is from DCWV "the Birthday wishes" 6x6 stack, sentiment from My Pink Stamper "Friends and Family," Spellbinders Circles and Lacy Circles, and a scrap of ribbon.  I used my glitter pen on the icing but it isn't visible in the pic.  I used the sketch from Seize the Birthday, but I missed the deadline! :/

More New Doodle Pantry Releases!!

Today is a mid-month release at Doodle Pantry!!  Some more wonderful digital stamps to check out!!

I used a pre-colored image and sentiment from Pen and Ink.

I cut the image and sentiment with Spellbinders Labels 4, and inked the edges with TH tea dye distress ink.  The DPs are digi paper included in this set.  MS border punch (used a square punch on the border to make my corners) and some ribbon from my stash completes it.

 Very neat set!!

Good morning to you!  It's Tuesday morning and that means it's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!  (Is it weird that, in my head, I am saying that in my best sports announcer voice??  Yeah, I think so, too!)

This week we have Bugaboo back as our sponsor!  :)  These images are so fun!!  Thank you, Bugaboo, for supplying the DT with images to work with!!

Thinking of you

All 4 of my kids were sick last week, so I didn't accomplish much other than keeping them hydrated, vapor-ized, and well supplied with tissues and cough drops!   On the weekend, I did get a few hours in my craft room and made up some cards with images I had printed a long time awhile ago.

Here is a note card.  I was inspired by and CASEd this card I saw on Pinterest.  Unfortunately, I didn't check when I first re-pinned it, and it does not go directly to the actual post of the original card. :/  But if you want to try to find it, have fun!  :)

Challenges...
Perfect Sentiment PSC73 - sympathy/thinking of you
Paper Pretties  PWC252 - April showers bring May flowers
Clear It Out - Spring is Coming (use flowers)
Word Art Wednesday #74 - anything goes (Scripture or uplifting sentiment)

Doodle Pantry Release!

This month's Doodle Pantry's Release is a few days late because of life that got in the way, but that's ok!  Laurie's creations are worth waiting for!!!  Click HERE to go browse the newest digi stamps!

Today at noon EST, the Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge starts!  Please come play in DPDC33 and you will receive the featured product set FREE!!   This month's featured set is Berry Nice Mice!  *see pic below*

Here is my card using the Texas Dogwood set...

Texas Dogwood comes with outlines and pre-colored images, 3 sentiments, and digi papers!

I used my Spectrum Noir markers and did my own coloring, but I pretty much copied Laurie's colors!   I've only been to Texas once, and I don't remember noticing what their dogwood trees look like!!  :)
I used heart vellum for the background.  I learned how not to adhere it the last time I used it. :/  So this time I put a bit of tape in the middle, knowing it would be hidden, and used brads.  Much better!  Cut my ovals with my Nesties, used some of the digi paper behind my image, yellow twine, and it was all done!

Remember, if you participate in DPDC33, you will receive Berry Nice Mice for FREE!!  Aren't they cute??  Please come play along!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Sympathy - TMS #192

Good morning!  Time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!   This week, we are going clean and simple!

Our sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays!   CAS-ual Fridays has a challenge blog, and in 2012, they began to sell their own stamps in their store

Here's our wonderful sketch by Melissa...

My card...

I made the sketch wide instead of tall, scored the lines, and turned the oval.    My verse is a clear stamp from "Scripture Occasions" clear stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps cut out using my Spellbinders Ovals.   My DP is from DCWV Performance Mat Stack.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to go check out the creations from the rest of our talented DT...
