Summer birthday - TMS #455

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

This was a fun card to make!  My image is Ava Flower Patch from Bugaboo.  She's colored with my Spectrum Noir markers and cut out using CottageCutz Double Stitched Ovals.  My DP is the Paper Studio Linen Door.  I used Darice Buttons EF and CB Swiss Dots EF.  The sentiment is cut with Spellbinders Sentiments 8.  The ribbon, twine, and button are from my stash.
Here's a closeup of the sentiment...

This is the last Tuesday of the month, so it's our blank canvas challenge...

Congratulations - TMS #454

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  It's that time of year...  I have a graduation card to share...

My image is from Bugaboo Stamps.  He's colored with Spectrum Noir markers and cut using CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  My sentiment is TH.  My paper is a scrap of K & Co Graduation.

I also have a second card made with this sketch.  I have needed too many sympathy cards recently!

This one is pretty CAS.  My image and sentiment are PTI Botanical Silhouettes.  I also used white cardstock, black cardstock, CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles, and Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics.

Here's our simple sketch... though you can embellish to your heart's desire...

with deepest sympathy - TMS #453

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!    My card this week was difficult to make.  It was for some dear friends who lost a close loved one suddenly.  I have to say that while sympathy cards are difficult, I put love and care into each one praying that it is a blessing and encouragement to the recipient.

My paper panel was a scrap and the fishtail was hand cut.  The flower is Blossoming from MHK Designs.  It's colored with  my Spectrum Noir markers.  I had 3... colored the first one and fussy cut the entire flower.  I added it to the sentiment panel that was cut out using CottageCutz Double-stitched Ovals.  Then I colored and fussy cut just the flower, then fussy cut the center.  My "jewels" at the top are the Paper Studio.

Here's our sketch for the week...

Be still, my soul - TMS #452

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!   Here's my card for this week...

It looks rather dull, but it much prettier IRL.

My sentiment is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps Hymn Blocks.  I love this set!!  I actually made several just like this with the different stamps.  The verse is cut with Spellbinders Postage Stamps and Classic Squares.  My DP is from my scrap pile.  The flower is the Paper Studio.  The foliage is Die-Namites Budding Branch.

Here's our sketch for the week...

I bought paper! :) - TMS #451

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!   Happy May 1st!  Can it really be May??!?  We had snow flurries yesterday... and the forecast high for tomorrow is 81!!!   Yeah, it's been a crazy spring!!

Here's my card for this week...

I made this using a NEW PAPER PACK that I just bought!!  After 9 months, my "I'm not buying any more paper" has ended.  I really don't need this, but it was 50% off at HL and I could not resist!  Isn't this pretty??!!??

My image is All Dressed Up "Jam Jars" that was printed on vellum and colored with
Spectrum Noir markers.  I put it behind a "window" since it's impossible to adhere vellum and it not be seen.  The gem flower is a part of a long decorative swirly thing I've had forever.  The sentiment inside lets the recipient know that this is an anniversary card.

Here's our sketch for this week... as you can see I turned it.
