Good friends stick together!

My craft room had been empty and sad and lonely lately.  This card has taken me more than a week to finish!!!  But I finally got 'er done!!

On the 1st, my card used just the "Li'l Scare" image.  But this image with all 4 characters is so fun!!  The colored image and sentiment come from the Doodle Pantry Li'l Oz - BUNDLE plus.  (It has all the individual characters as well as the combination, plus it's on sale right now!)

Summertime new releases at McMahon Five Designs!

Good morning to you!!  Are you enjoying your summer?  We are!  In June, our family went on vacation and had a wonderful time!!   We loved the Bronx Zoo, the 9/11 Memorial, the Liberty Bell, Six Flags Great Adventure, and the kids had fun in the waves of the Atlantic one evening until the lightning and thunder!!   We've been busy since being back, but we were able to finally get our pool cleaned out and filled and went in yesterday for the first time.  It felt so good!!

We saw lots of turtles and tortoises at the zoo so this image just jumped at me when I saw it!

Christmas in July :)

Tomorrow is Friday!!  :) :) :)  Actually, I don't really care what day of the week it is... there is always something going on!!  And July is going by waaaaaay too quickly!!

So after complaining about time flying... what kind of card do I have to show you?  A Christmas card!!!   After all, it is only 167 days away! 

This doesn't have the traditional look to it, but I was pleased with it!   I made this using digi image, paper, and sentiment from Doodle Pantry.  These are some of July's new releases.   The Vintage Lamppost set is FREE with any purchase until July 24.  The Holiday Greetings set is FREE if you play along with Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge #36 this month.

Once it was all printed out, it was easy to cut everything with my Spellbinders and finish it off with a touch of ribbon, a button tied with hemp cord, and some adhesive pearls.

Doodle Pantry COLOR releases

I hope all my American family and friends had a wonderful Independence Day!  My husband is a pastor and a few years ago we started having a picnic at our house for our church family.  We had a bit smaller crowd that usual yesterday with just under 80 folk here.  It was hot and humid but we had a great time!!

There are some more "new" products for you over at Doodle Pantry!!  Laurie has colored some more older products.   These are fantastic for getting your projects done quickly!!!  And she has added a great digi paper pack!!

My card uses Orange & Cherries Color plus.

I cut my image with Spellbinders Fleur de Lis.  My BG paper is from fancy pants "summer's end."  I embossed a piece of vellum with Swiss Dots and used Fiskars Threading Water border punch on it, added a bit of ribbon and a small bow to finish it off.
