This week is a judged challenge, too! The twist (must do in order to be considered for the prize) is to make it a birthday card/project. Our sponsor this week is Digi Doodle Shop!
I'm also entering this is these challenges...
The Stamp Man Challenge - Anything Goes - Celebrations
Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge 85 - Birthdays
Joyful Stamper's Inspire Me Fridays 70 - Anything Goes
Since it is my sketch, it should be easy, right?? I put flowers in the sketch and intended to use them. Then I thought maybe this card could be for a man, so decided on buttons. Then thought the papers are really too 'girly' for a guy, so back to the flowers. Here are pics of both versions because I tried before I adhered... (I still have not attached either so let me know which one you like best, ok?)
Flowers?
....Or buttons?
~frame designed and cut with MTC
~Digi Doodle Special Delivery image
~Inkadinkado sentiment
~Swiss Dots embossing folder
~buttons and/or flowers from my stash :)
~Copic and Prismacolor markers (as you can see, I'm still learning!!)
Thanks for stopping by!! Come over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and play along!!!

Well, I've gone between them both a bunch of times, and I think...buttons. I don't think the papers are too girly at all :) Love this sketch, btw, the triangular piece was a really fun element!
Debbie, this IS a wonderful sketch, and as soon as I finish having my morning coffee, I think I just might have to get into my craft room and give this a try. I have a new square frame die that just may be perfect to use. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm so smiling at that adorable image, too. It is well coloured and so charming.
beautiful card Debbie, love that image!!
fantastic sketch too!!
Thanks for becoming a follower @ Joyful Stamper, I'm following you now too!

What a lovely card! I like it both ways :) Greetings form Bulgaria, Ani

I vote for buttons, not because of the papers, but because of the image. :)
PS: What is MTC? I NEED that black frame! I thought it was done with punches.
Yeah!! Congrats on the FAB sketch, Debbie. Great shading on the chef. I love the buttons for a mans card and the flowers for a lady. Wait till you need a birthday card then add the embellies.
Debbie - how cool it is that YOUR sketch is being used!! I've never seen a creation made by the sketch designer and I am so excited to see what you had in mind! Your card is fabulous and I love the fun image. I would vote for buttons - more because this seems more of a man's card to me and I don't tend to use flowers for men. However, some do - so go with your gut!
This is fantastic Debbie! I think that both the flowers and buttons are fantastic, but to have to choose, I'd go with the buttons! I love the papers you've used with this fantastic chef!
Buttons :). Fantastic sketch Debbie, your card is wonderful. I love the papers you used. Great job on the colouring too.
Debbie, you are funny..i like the choices you gave too. Should it be easy if it's your sketch? I don't know but is sure was a fun one..i made two!
My vote is for flowers! Adorable card with a great sketch. I love the dp and the die-cut square.
LOVE your sketch! And I LOVE both cards! So the one with flowers looks very pretty and the one with buttons does look masculine... I think you should wait til you need to use it and then decide... Cuz it really does work either way! :O)
And a super sketch it is Debbie! I think I like the the buttons best on this card because it is I think, a fabulous masculine card. The papers look great either way. It is really a wonderful card!

I like both buttons and flowers. I don't think the paper is too girly but either way created a perfect card. Great job on the sketch, too. Thanks for creating such a fun one.
I had fun with this sketch. Made my card square because my image is kinda small and there'll less space to mess up! ;-) Love your colouring, looks perfect to me.
Loved your sketch - it was so fun to work with. Your card is just awesome. I love all the polka dots.
