I've had a global afternoon! I am in NY, I'm eating Thornton's mint toffee from England (I wish I'd filled a suitcase or 2 with this stuff!!!), I made this card for a friend in England to thank her for the gift of a doily that was made in Romania! Not that you needed to know all that to see my card, but I'm feeling chatty today. :)
Here is my CAS card (so that it is easy to mail and won't be destroyed on the way) to thank her...

This is so pretty, Debbie! What a wonderful way to thank your friend! I loved the "global" story too! That toffee sounds so yummy!
Very elegant, Debbie. Your friend will love it. I could never pull this off ...nope, not in a million years!
Very pretty! I love the wonderful rich colors. Thanks so much for playing along in our Over the Edge challenge. It's a very special week for us here at CAS-ual Fridays, and I hope you're enjoying all the sneak peeks :)

Now I loved the chatty bit :) What a cool global afternoon! Love the papers on this card - so elegant & delicate, just like a doily :)
Very pretty indeed. Lovely :)
Well, I love your card...clean, simple, and very effective! I bet I would love the toffee too...I have never heard of mint toffee!
Wow - that really is global. You just needed to some Viennese chocolates.
So pretty! Thanks much for playing along with us over at the 365 Cards blog!!
Debbie - Now I'm wondering where you are from? And where in NY were you visiting?? Great card btw. Love the papers you used behind the sentiment!
Blessings,
Michelle
