Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in the USA!
It's time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. We are asking you to create a card for a gal in your life using your favourite colour combo. This was not easy for me! I love red, but I don't necessarily love red cards. So I looked through what I've made over the last several months and what really caught my eye were the cards made with blue and yellow, so I guess that is my new favourite colour combo. :)
My paper is AC Jack Frost. My flowers are Sizzix TH Small Tattered Flowers. I added a panel of vellum to tone down the busy pattern of the BG. My sentiment is one of many like it that I've had printed for a long time. It is leftover from a ministry at our former church. We had a Romans 12:15 ministry... "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep." I made cards with this sentiment, and we wrote notes and sent them to families in our area on the anniversary of a loved one's death. (We also sent happy cards to new mothers.)
Challenges:

Word Art Wednesday #675-676 - AG that's family friendly
Please play along at Cardz 4 Galz and share your favourite colour combo! (Or one of them.)
Thanks for stopping and have a blessed day!

I like the yellow/blue combo. Great sentiment. What awonderful ministry of your church.
Beautiful card. Love the layout and colors. So pretty and beautiful sentiment. Thanks for sharing over at Crafty Gals Corner
This is also one of my favorite color combinations. Such a sweet card. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful art with us at Word Art Wednesday. You've been playing along for so long, and I appreciate every single card you share with us. I enjoy visiting you here, and I really appreciated your sweet comment on my blog yesterday. I don't get as much blog traffic now that Instagram is so popular. So, I started there as well (due to a DT I was on) and I'm trying to build my Followers there as well. Which brings me to this...I've tried so many times to Follow your blog and I get a "Failed to Follow" signal. I'm not sure why that happens. Nonetheless, I'm so grateful for you and for all the wonderful cards and creations you share with us at WAW. The next challenge begins our 5th Annual Christmas Blog Hop with lots of great prizes. I hope you will join us. Have a blessed week, my creative friend.
