Inking and embossing and die cutting, oh my!

Hi!  I had some time to play in my craft room and had fun with embossing and dies and made a Christmas card for a few challenges...

Dry embossing has always been my favorite technique.  It just adds so much to any card, IMHO.  But when I discovered adding ink to the EF, I think it takes it to another level.  This is Spellbinders Poinsettia 3D embossing folder that I inked with Tsukeniko Moonlight White ink.  I then spattered some watered down paint, but the cardstock was damp from the ink, so it ended up more pink than white.   The poinsettia is Poppystamps Delicate Poinsettia cut from vellum.  I colored the leaves with a green Copic.  My sentiment is Tailored Expressions All Together - Occasions 3, stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed in gold.  I have made/will be making more like this.  So easy, yet so classy!

Challenges:
Die Cut Divas October - AG with die cuts
12 Months of Christmas Link Up #127 - AG Christmas w/ opt twist (I did AG)
Allsorts Challenge #834 - Traditional Christmas Colors (red, green, gold)
Crafty Catz #702 - embossing
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Christmas (I used a Spellbinders EF)

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
