Gingerbread Wishes - McMahon Five Designs New Release!

My card was fun to make and it's fun to play with, too! :)

 

Aren't these ginger bread cute???  And, like I said, they are fun!!  I added them with an Action Wobble!

These cuties are from Gingerbread Scene from Imagine That! digis by Kris. 

I used the outline images and colored them with  my Spectrum Noir markers, but as you see, they come colored, too!   My DP is Recollections "O Christmas Tree."  I used Darice Dots and Sizzix Snowflakes embossing folders, Spellbinders Labels Eight, and a scrap of polka dot ribbon.

jingle belles JB:13:23 - holiday traditions (We made gingerbread cookies when I was a kid.  Our decorating wasn't fancy... we just used those little silver balls.  You know, the kind that were supposed to be edible, but were as hard as ball bearings and nearly broke our teeth!!!)

Happy Tuesday to you!!  Happy 50th birthday to my big brother!!  **I have to say that my mother "planned" pretty well... my sisters' birthdays are exactly one week apart in the spring, and my brother's and my birthdays are exactly one week apart in the fall!   Just a useless fact for you! :)

I used MTC and cut it on my E.  I welded 2 for the base, then cut another in DP for the front.  I decorated the inside a bit, too, so it wouldn't be so boring...

Western notes

Happy Hump Day!!  It cracks me up that this phrase has become so popular lately (or unpopular, depending on who you are!) -- it's been around for years!

Anyway, I'm glad you stopped by today.  I have a set of note cards for my daughter's friend.  She loves all things western!!  (Not sure what she'll think of the outhouse, though! :)

 

These all are made using Doodle Pantry's Western Combo Kit.  **check out below for info - this is on sale!!!**  This has these images already combined and colored.  I've had them printed for awhile and just got the cards made today.

My DP for all of them is DCWV "The Linen Door" which I got discounted at ACMoore last week. :)  On this one, I used CB Distressed Stripes embossing folder,  Spellbinders Labels 15, burlap ribbon, TH walnut stain distress ink, a SU button tied with a thread I took from the ribbon.  (I'm out of twine.)

Tuesday Morning Sketches #221

Happy Tuesday to you!!!  Time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

And here is my card...

It was one of those days when I was not too thrilled with the result... what I had in my head just didn't quite translate to the card, but it is pretty, though it looks better IRL.  I have some of Jessi's crocheted frames and intended to use one, but I have run out of A2 cards.  This one is smaller and the frame took too much of the card, so I pulled out my Spellbinders Lacey Circles to frame the image.  The sentiment is a clear stamp from Clear Dollar.  And of course, I embossed the extra circles... Darice Large Petal and CB Swiss Dots.  It think it's cool... the Paper Studio CS is white core, so that shows through and looks distressed even though I didn't distress it.

M5D New Release!

Happy Friday to you!!  Today, there are some new goodies in the shop at McMahon Five Designs!! 

My card is made with a fun set from Imagine That! digis by Kris.  

My image and sentiment are from Gertie Goose Winter...

 

My printer has some issues and tends to print colors much more 'dull' than they should be, so I used my Spectrum Noir markers to add a bit more color.  (Unfortunately, I don't have the purple set yet!)  The embossed BG is a Sizzix snowflake folder.  The lg snowflakes are an EK Success punch.  The tiny snowflakes are a little punch that I've had forever and can't remember who made it.  The snowflakes were all cut from Slice sparkle DP.  Here's a close up...

Here's my card... I have to tell you that I HATE ants except when they come from Doodle Pantry!!

I used an outline from Stocking Ants!  (This set FREE with purchase until Oct 24!!) 

My DP is AC "Jolly.."  The ribbon fiber is so old!!  When I first started scrapping, I bought a bunch of fibers off of eBay and hardly never use them!  The sentiment is cut out with Spellbinders Label Eight.

It's late Sunday night where I am, but it is already Monday, Thanksgiving Day, where my parents live, so I guess I can wish all my Canadian family and friends Happy Thanksgiving!!!

and filled it with Black Eyed Susans...

McMahon Five Designs New Release!!

Whoo hoo!  Today, some new sets are releasing at McMahon Five Designs!!   New is always fun!

My card is made with a set from Imagine That! digis by Kris... "Bella and Skipper - COLOR."

 Aren't they fun??  My printer seems to print everything very 'dull' compared to what it should be, but it still is cute!

My DP is fancy pants "summer's end" and I inked the edges with TH walnut stain distress ink.  I adhered the image directly to the card front, then used my Spellbinder to cut the opening in the DP and popped it up.   A bit of baker's twine and a few SU buttons finish it all off.
