Caroling - CCC #2
Only ONE WEEK until Christmas! As this posts, I'm preparing for our church's last performance of "A Christmas Carol"! This is our 8th year to do it. My husband is Scrooge. :D This year, I don't have a part other than playing the piano during scene changes, but am in charge of costumes. (Did you ever try to convince young boys to put every piece of their costume all in one place? I assure you... it does not work!!)
This week, we are going Christmas caroling which is one of my favorite things to do at Christmas time!! We're planning to go this week!!
Today's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges is a photo prompt... children caroling! (You can see it below.) I was inspired by the caroling for my card...
I love this Die-Versions Sweet Petites Carolers die!! I used scraps of 2 grays and a black for my carolers. My musical DP is First Editions A Christmas Story. The sentiment is a clear sentiment from Pink and Main, embossed with black embossing powder, then cut with the coordinating die.
Remember that Christmas Card Challenges is now every other week, so you'll have until Dec 28 to play along. Here's our photo inspiration...
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!!
I also want to wish you all a very Merry CHRISTmas!!!

What a wonderful card! The three colors of cardstock are very effective in creating dimension and perspective!
Good luck with your Christmas Carol! It sounds like fun!
Such a cool way to design for caroling. Love it. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas! Karen, CCC DT Sister
Fabulous card! I adore how you did the carolers and the music paper was the perfect compliment!

Great Vintage style card! I like the way you stacked the die cuts an the use of different colors of card stock.
I love how you layered the die with different colors - very effective!
