Mary Poppins

The calendar says it's been spring for a couple of weeks, but... high 60's one day and then back down to low 30's and snow flurries 2 days later??  Crazy!!

So I'm manufacturing spring in my craft room.  :)  I've got clouds and flowers and wellies and that's just in my paper.  :)   Here's my card...  with Mary Poppins!  We enjoyed Mary Poppins Returns but nothing can quite compare to the original!  What's your opinion?

I was looking through my stamps, realized I had never used this one.  After coloring it, I went and checked Paper Playful to find challenges to inspire me in making the card (even found one with a Mary Poppins theme!!), and created this.  ((Actually made it yesterday, but got distracted and didn't finish the post, so I missed the deadline of one of the challenges I made it for.  Duh!!))

I think black ink will show up on the teal inside.
If not, I'll put a white piece in there.
My image is Mary Poppins from Kraftin' Kimmie.  (I've had this for almost 5 yrs and this is the first time I've inked it up!!!)  My DP is Pebbles Garden Party.  I cut a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of white cardstock and scored it at 2-1/8" and 4-1/4" then placed my oval die over the first score and ran it through my Cuttlebug with the cutting plate edge even with the score line so it only cut half.  (I believe there are dies available to cut this type of card, but this is my homemade version.)  My image and sentiment were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed.  My sentiment is Bo Bunny and cut with Simon Says Stamp Tiny Tags.

Challenges...
Kraftin' Kimmie #474 - spring (my paper is spring-y)
The Library Challenge #30 - Mary Poppins
Di's Digi Challenge - make it girly
Colour Crazy Craft week 12 - anything goes (must be hand colored)
Retro Rubber #107 - tic tac toe (yellow, heat embossing, ribbon or twine)
(My stamp is about 5 yrs old.)

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!!
