Christmas ornaments - TMS #507

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This week, I've got a Christmas card for you...

(It's hard to see in this pic, but the ornaments really
shine and are so pretty IRL!  You can get a glimpse below.)
Supplies...
~Raisin Boat "Holiday Hang Ups" clear stamp
~Versamark ink
~MS embossing powder
~the Paper Studio "Old World Winter" DP
~Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics

Challenges...
Crimbo Crackers #186 - anything Christmas goes
Merry Little Christmas MLCCB #10 - June anything Christmas goes
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas #441 - anything Christmas goes

When I heat emboss, I put the heat gun both on top of the design and under the design to help keep the paper from warping.  I had heard that going under helps the EP melt better.  It's true!  I did these ornaments in a dark red EP first, but made a bloober, so did it again in the green.  I heated the green from underneath only.  See how much smoother the green is that the red...  It's cool!

Here is our sketch for the week...

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to go check out the creations from the TMS DT...

This turned out so pretty Debbie, and thanks so much for the reminder to heat from the back. I would not have imagined that it would make such a difference, thanks for also posting the comparison!

Heating from the back is new to me, I'll have to try it. Your card turned out wonderful!

Gorgeous! The ornaments have so much dimension to them - they look 3D.
