hello beautiful - TMS #465

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

My flower and sentiment are Hero Arts Color Layering "For You Flowers."   The ink is Studio G.  I'm kind of annoyed because the "hello" is straight, but the "beautiful" is not!  So just turn your head a bit sideways so you can't tell!

Here's our sketch for the week...

Action grad - TMS #464

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!   I know this is late to be posting a grad card, but this is for a friend whose party is this weekend.

I went old school... the mortarboards are on Action Wobbles! :)   Haven't used these in a few yrs.

My paper is the remnants of a DCWV Graduation stack I got years ago.  The image and sentiment are Sweet n Sassy Stamps Graduations stamp and die set. Some baker's twine and a button finished it off.

Father's Day - TMS #463

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

I know, I know!  Father's Day is long past, but when I was making my cards last month, this sketch was perfect for the images I wanted to use.  I've actually got 2 cards to show you.

This one, I sent to my dad...  (he's a car/truck guy!)

And my kids gave this one to my hubby...

The truck is from Fred, She Said.  Can't remember where the best. dad. ever. came from.  Paper and ribbon from my stash.  Spellbinders Postage Stamp and Squares dies were used to frame the images.  The arrows are Momenta dies.

Here's the sketch... isn't this a fun one?

Love and a baby - TMS #462

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I've got 2 cards to show you this week.  The first one was easy because I let the paper do the work for me, but then I decided to actually follow the sketch! :D

If you came from TMS, this isn't the card you clicked on, but it is the first one I created...

This DP is MME Paris & Co.  My sentiment is DRS Designs.  My circles are cut with an unbranded set of pierced dies from Cheapo Dies.  My chipboard heart is Studio 18.

Here's card number 2...

My DP is Heidi Grace Daydream.  My precolored image and sentiment are Doodle Pantry (closed).

This is our wonderful sketch for the week...

Hello - TMS #460

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  We've got a really fun sketch this week!  Here's my take on it...

My DP is Authentique "Latest & Greatest."  I cut my small rectangles with a small die that cuts 6 at a time.  Its packaging is long gone, and I cannot remember where I got it.  My sentiment is Die-Versions.  I cut several layers to give it some dimension.

Here's the sketch...

Floral congratulations - TMS #459

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!   Here's my card for this week...

This card could be used for many occasions, but I'm using it as a wedding card.   My image is from ......  The sentiment is from Raisin Boat .....  Even after spotlighting the image, it still felt bare.  I don't own any sequins (I thought I had purchased some awhile back but could not find them), so I used a round punch to make some.  The paper used is sparkly, so they are really pretty IRL!

Here's our awesome sketch...

Thank you - TMS #458

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!   My card is a "simple" thank you card, but still very pretty IMHO.

I actually made 2...  This second one has the bow tied exactly like the sketch, but unfortunately, it was after I had used this one that I realized I had taken the pic before trimming the ribbon. Oops!  I did fix it before sending. :)

Here's the sketch.  Like I mentioned, it's pretty simple, so the choice of paper, ribbon, and image/sentiment can really change it up...

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Inkadinkado clear sentiment
Studio 112 flourish clear stamp
Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics
SPellbinders Standard Circles
Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Circles

BFF - TMS #456

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Here's my card(s) for this week...

This Di's Digis Scruffy Kitty was half colored, so I finished her and made this card.  I wasn't really thrilled with it for several reasons, so I decided to try again.  I made a Christmas card. Wasn't sure which was better, so I decided to share both. :)

The shimmery paper is so pretty IRL!

Here's the sketch...

This was a fun card to make!  My image is Ava Flower Patch from Bugaboo.  She's colored with my Spectrum Noir markers and cut out using CottageCutz Double Stitched Ovals.  My DP is the Paper Studio Linen Door.  I used Darice Buttons EF and CB Swiss Dots EF.  The sentiment is cut with Spellbinders Sentiments 8.  The ribbon, twine, and button are from my stash.
Here's a closeup of the sentiment...

Congratulations - TMS #454

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  It's that time of year...  I have a graduation card to share...

My image is from Bugaboo Stamps.  He's colored with Spectrum Noir markers and cut using CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  My sentiment is TH.  My paper is a scrap of K & Co Graduation.

I also have a second card made with this sketch.  I have needed too many sympathy cards recently!

This one is pretty CAS.  My image and sentiment are PTI Botanical Silhouettes.  I also used white cardstock, black cardstock, CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles, and Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics.

Here's our simple sketch... though you can embellish to your heart's desire...

with deepest sympathy - TMS #453

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!    My card this week was difficult to make.  It was for some dear friends who lost a close loved one suddenly.  I have to say that while sympathy cards are difficult, I put love and care into each one praying that it is a blessing and encouragement to the recipient.

My paper panel was a scrap and the fishtail was hand cut.  The flower is Blossoming from MHK Designs.  It's colored with  my Spectrum Noir markers.  I had 3... colored the first one and fussy cut the entire flower.  I added it to the sentiment panel that was cut out using CottageCutz Double-stitched Ovals.  Then I colored and fussy cut just the flower, then fussy cut the center.  My "jewels" at the top are the Paper Studio.

Here's our sketch for the week...

Be still, my soul - TMS #452

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!   Here's my card for this week...

It looks rather dull, but it much prettier IRL.

My sentiment is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps Hymn Blocks.  I love this set!!  I actually made several just like this with the different stamps.  The verse is cut with Spellbinders Postage Stamps and Classic Squares.  My DP is from my scrap pile.  The flower is the Paper Studio.  The foliage is Die-Namites Budding Branch.

Here's our sketch for the week...

I bought paper! :) - TMS #451

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!   Happy May 1st!  Can it really be May??!?  We had snow flurries yesterday... and the forecast high for tomorrow is 81!!!   Yeah, it's been a crazy spring!!

Here's my card for this week...

I made this using a NEW PAPER PACK that I just bought!!  After 9 months, my "I'm not buying any more paper" has ended.  I really don't need this, but it was 50% off at HL and I could not resist!  Isn't this pretty??!!??

My image is All Dressed Up "Jam Jars" that was printed on vellum and colored with
Spectrum Noir markers.  I put it behind a "window" since it's impossible to adhere vellum and it not be seen.  The gem flower is a part of a long decorative swirly thing I've had forever.  The sentiment inside lets the recipient know that this is an anniversary card.

Here's our sketch for this week... as you can see I turned it.
