Grad cap - TMS #512

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I've got a graduation card this week for you.  I know we're kind of past "grad season," but we homeschooled our children, and my son's celebration is not until next month.
My son... my youngest child... my last homeschool student!!!!!  July 1, I mailed his final packet of exams and reports to Abeka Academey.  That was a milestone... after 18 yrs of homeschooling, I am ALL DONE!!!!!   Maybe I should make myself a card, too! :D

My paper is K & Co Graduation.  I've had this paper forever but still have lots left... it's a 12x12 pad so it each card doesn't take much. ;)    The main panel is embossed with CB Swiss Dots.  My image is "Caps off to you" from Deedee's Digis.  It was pre-colored, but I colored the tassel to match the paper.  The banners are Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fishtail Banners. All other cuts are Spellbinders Classic Squares and A2 Matting Basics.

Challenges...
Happy Little Stampers - July anything goes with dies
Crafty Friends #114 - use 2 or more patterned paper
Aud Sentiments #231 - bingo + sentiment  *I did down the middle - embossing, digi or stamp, stitching faux or real (my fishtails are stitched)

Here's our sketch...   this will be a keeper for me when I need a quick but awesome card!

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to go check out the creations from the TMS DT...

Terrific graduation card! I love that you emboss patterned paper, I never think about doing it. Congrats to your son and yes you definitely deserve a card too!
