Embossed thanks - TMS #542

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This week is our last revisited sketch, so next week, it'll be a new one!  I do love replaying our sketches, but it's also fun to have a new one each week.

This was quick and easy to put together, but I really like it!!
My BG is embossed with Cuttlebug Thank You Words EF.  The die cut sentiment is from a Cuttlebug plate... With Gratitude.  I used Unbranded Stitched Rectangles, Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics, and Sizzix Banners dies.

Classic masculine birthday + more - TMS #541

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I've got 3 cards to show you today!!  Here's my fave...

For this card, my image and sentiment are from The Project Bin "Classic Man."  I used the Paper Studio "The Great Rock Island Route" DP.  I used Spellbinders Standard Circles, Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics, and unbranded Stitched Scalloped Rectangles from Cheapo Dies.The doily is Recollections, and the twine and adhesive dots are from my stash.  


Here's #2...

This image is from Sunny Studio "Happy Camper."  The DP is Pink Paislee "Outfitters" and everything else is from my stash.  


Now for #3...  (This was actually the inspiration for the sketch way back when, but I didn't share it then.)

I believe the DP was from my scrap box and I know the image and sentiment are Doodle Pantry.

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This week, I made a card for my husband to use.  I've done several using this image in the past, but had several printed and thought this would be a good sketch to use one.

This is an awesome colored image and sentiment from Doodle Pantry.  I was on the DT before it closed a few yrs ago.  Still love the images!  (I need to use the ones like this that I have left soon so my hubby can use them.  He is leaving the pastorate next month and going to be academic dean of a Bible translation school.  Sad to leave NY and the ministry here, but we're so excited to see what the Lord has in store!!)
My DP is MME Portobello Road.  I used Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics, CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles, and Sizzex Banners dies.

Warmest wishes - TMS #539

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This past Christmas, I gave/sent over 120 handmade cards.  Not sure if I'll be able to do that again this year, but I'm trying to work on my stash early.  

This was fun and very easy to make.  The mittens are stickers that I've had forever!  I think I got these the first year I started making scrapbooks... in 2005!!!  I had to add some glue to them because the adhesive was so old. :D  
I had a bit of trouble finding paper that matched them, but this page from Crate Paper Peppermint worked.  The sentiment is from SSS Build A Snowman and cut out with Die-versions Stitched Circles.

Birthday balloons - TMS #538

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This is a birthday card for a friend's little girl who just turned 1!  

For this card, I used Die-Namics Happy Birthday Balloon die, AC My Baby DP, Spellbinders Petite Ovals and Petite Scalloped Ovals, and CB Swiss Dots embossing folder.  The "1" is an AC Thicker.

Buffalo Plaid Christmas

Most of my cards are for my design teams, but sometimes I just play around and make a card for fun.  Such as this white Buffalo check card...

This is pretty basic, too, other than my BG.  I found some stencils at Tuesday Morning that were intended for cookies, but they are in my craft room and will probably never ever make it to the kitchen!!  :D
I used the Buffalo plaid (AKA gingham) stencil and used my blending brush and added black ink to white cardstock.   I used 2 different sized snowflake punches and embossed them with CB Swiss Dots.  My sentiment is Pink & Main's Merry Christmas stamp and die set.

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  

My image and sentiment are clear stamps from Neat & Tangled "Crafting is My Jam." My DP is Recollections Regent Street.  I used Spellbinders Classic Squares and A2 Matting Basics.  The "tape measure" is an adhesive tape that I've had forever.  I added tiny buttons from Buttons Galore & More for the dot element. 



This week's sketch is my favorite from last year...  (This was #501.)

Gingerbread Christmas - SCC #108

A whole new world year!!! :)  It's time for Sparkles Christmas Challenge #108 with the theme of "for a child."  I got to choose the theme for this month. :)

Most cards I make are made with adults or an entire family in mind, so it was fun to create just for a child...

And this will be fun for a child... I used an Action Wobble behind the image...

 My image is a pre-colored digi from Imagine That Digistamp "Gingerbread Scene."  My paper is K&Compnay Mod Holiday. I used Double Stitched Rectangles and Stitched Banners from Cheapo Dies.  I also used a MFT Ric Rac die.


So I know Christmas was just a week ago, but it's now 2020!  It's never too early to start getting ready for this year.  ;)

Snowpeople TP - TMS #535

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This week is our Annual Anything Goes challenge!  Literally... anything goes!!   And this challenge lasts for 2 weeks, so you have until January 5 to link up your creation.  

But first, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas!!  May the Christ of Christmas fill your heart and home with joy!! 

Now on to the challenge... I've got embroidered toilet paper to show you!! :)

Aren't they cute??!?  This is so fun!  If you do machine embroidery but have never embroidered on TP, I encourage you to do it.  It's so fun and there are so many awesome designs just for TP.  You can use just about any 4x4 design that is not too dense.  

I discovered it is best to hoop the stabilizer and pin the TP to it.  I have hooped the TP, but pinning helps keep it from tearing.

I made several different designs for a craft show earlier this fall. Some of them are so funny!  This makes a great gag gift or a fun gift for that person who has everything!

My image is a digi from From the Heart Stamps (a shop now closed) that I colored with  my Spectrum Noir markers and a white gel pen.  My DP is Graphic 45 A Christmas Carol.  The snowflakes are a MS punch.

Swirl ornament - TMS #532

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

My card is pretty simple, but still pretty, IMHO.  My paper, which doubles as my sentiment, is First Edition A Christmas Story.  The ornament is Memory Box Swirl Ornament, and my bow is a gold fiber from my stash.  Simple but elegant.

I actually made 3 cards with our sketch using different shapes for the corner element... the ornament above, a tree, and a circle.

Winter wonderland - SCC #107

December is here!!  Christmas is only 24 days away!!! :)   It's time for Sparkles Christmas Challenge #107 with the theme of "Winter Wonderland."

Have you even taken a sleigh ride?  If not, you have missed out!  Hearing the crunch of snow under the runners, seeing the snow sparkle in the moonlight, and... getting snow down your neck as you pass snow-laden tree branches! :)  So much fun!!!  And that's my definition of a winter wonderland, so here's my card...

My image is Sweet n Sassy Stamps Old Fashioned Christmas clear stamp that I stamped with VersaMark Black Onys and heat embossed.  I inked the panel with TH faded jeans and antique linen distress ink and cut it out with Spellbinders Classic Squares.  I just held a small circle and inked over it to get the moon.  My DP is Graphic 45 Christmas Carol.  It's hard to see, but I cut the bottom half with Poppystamps Stiched Landscapes.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Build a Snowman.  It's cut out with Stitched banners from Cheapo Dies.  The ribbon is from my stash.

This card makes we want lots of snow and to take a sleigh ride!!  (A storm is coming today, so I may get the lots of snow part!) Sweet memories growing up!

My paper is Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa,  My sentiment is cut using Pink & Main Merry Christmas dies.  It's framed with printed vellum and I also punched my snowflakes with a MS punch.  They're hard to see in that pic, but here's a closeup...

Easy peasy -- I used Crate Paper Snow & Cocoa DP, a Crate Paper Snow & Cocoa tag (snowman), Scalloped Stitched Rectangles from Cheapo Dies, CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles, Raisin Boat clear sentiment, and Kat Scrappiness Fishtail Banner (ends cut off).  

Here's our fun sketch.  The stripes behind the image element are perfect for using washi tape, but I didn't have any suitable, so let my striped paper do the work. :)

I made another with some scraps laying around...

My snowman is a Sizzex die that I've had for a looooong time, but I think this is the first time I've ever used it!   (This card looks kind of dorky, but it is cute in real life!)

A boy and his dog - SCC #106

It's November!!  This year has flown by! 

Got your Christmas cards all ready?  If not, we're still here to help at Sparkles Christmas Challenge #106 with our theme of Santa.

I don't usually create using Santa, and technically didn't this time either, but it's close enough... ;)

My image is Bugaboo's Kidz Christmas Boy and His Dog.  I colored them with  my Spectrum Noir markers.  They are framed with Darice Snow Globe die.  My sentiment is a clear sentiment from Raisin Boat's Formal Phrases.  The sentiment is framed by a bit of Heidi Swapp printed vellum.  A bit of baker's twine and a snowflake sticker finished it off.
