Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Still working on Christmas cards, so I've got a couple today...

Our church has done "A Christmas Carol" many times, and my husband plays Scrooge.  He's so good at it!!  :)  A few years ago, I bought Graphic 45 Christmas Carol cling stamps and paper, so I could make cards for the cast.  I haven't done a lot with them since, so I figured it was time to dust them off.  

Here's my Scrooge and I.  Isn't he cute? ;)  (This is from the last time we did it a couple of years ago, but we're doing it again this year, so I'm excited even though I don't have a part.)

Handmade cards because...

I am so excited about this card!!  I just got this sentiment stamp in the mail today and HAD to make a card.  I think you'll understand why I love it...

Isn't this sentiment awesome??!??  It's "Keepsake" from the Project Bin.  It is stamped with VersaMark Black Onyx and heat embossed with clear EP and cut out with CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  My DP is Bo Bunny Early Bird.  The tape measure ribbon is really cute... you just can't see it behind the sentiment panel. :D  The flower is Prima, the greenery is a MS punch, and the twine is from my stash.

And I also got this stamp for the back of my fun cards.... :D  (This is "Hand Made" from the Project Bin.)

Merry Christmas - TMS #526

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Time is flying, so I have more Christmas cards to share...

My image is Raisin Boat Snow Animals.  My DP is Carta Bella Snow Fun.  I hand cut the tag, but the Raisin Boat Formal Phrases sentiment is cut using Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fishtail Banners. My ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. 


I had stamped and heat embossed a couple of sentiment/images, so I used them up on this sketch, too...

I don't know why I don't heat emboss
with colors more often.  I love it!!! 

The ornament and sentiment are from Sum More Fun's Tangled Tinsel.  My paper is scraps.  I embossed with CB Swiss Dots.  Ribbon and bow from my stash.

we jingle all the way - TMS #525

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  

I've got a fun Christmas card to share, but first I have to show you how beautiful fall is in NY!!  Pictures don't really even some close to showing reality, but there's nothing quite like maple leaves against an October sky! 

Then my mother sent me a pic from NB, so I had to add it.  Wow!!!

Now here's my card...

In case you can't read the sentiment, it says, "In this house we laugh, play & we jingle all the way."  It's a clear sentiment from Sum More Fun's Tangled Tinsel.  My DP is the Paper Studio Pine St. Square.  My snowflakes are Sweet n Sassy Stamps small snowflakes. The snowflakes and the ribbon shimmer IRL.  I've had this paper forever and am nearing the end of the pile I got. :(

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I've actually got 2 cards to show you today.  I made one, then looked closer at the sketch and realized I had missed the BG element completely!!  Here's the one done according to the sketch...   

My DP is MME Lost & Found Two Breeze. I cut a piece with Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics then cut it into various sizes.  (Info on that is on the TMS blog post.)  The middle panels are cut with CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  My sentiment is Cuttlebug "With Gratitute" die, and my embellishment is a Heidi Swapp chipboard butterfly. 

My second card (first one made... incorrectly!)  is a fun, girly card...

My image and sentiment are from Sweet n Sassy Stamps "Girly Girl Cookie" clear stamp set which I think is discontinued.  She's colored with my Spectrum Noir markers.  (This image is available as a digital known as "Pamper Me Cookie.")  My DP is Crate Paper DIY Shop.  I mirrored the sketch so my shoe paper clip would not cover the image.  Here's a closeup of it...

Isn't this cute??!?  I've had this forever, so no clue where I got it.  The pkg also has purse, ring, and dress paper clips.

Merry Christmoose - SCC #105

October 1st!!  Only 85 days until Christmas!!  But it is several days less than that until we need to send out our Christmas cards, so that's what we try to help with all year long at Sparkles Christmas Challenge! :)   This month's theme is "Make us Laugh."

I hope this guy at least bring a big smile to your face!

 My image is Make It Snappy Merry Christmoose from Bugaboo Stamps.  He's colored with Spectrum Noir markers, and I added some Glossy Accents to the Christmas bulbs. (Click on the pic to enlarge it to see the cool effect.)  He's cut out with CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  My DP is the Paper Studio Pine St. Square.

Merry Christmas to Ewe - TMS #523

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Last year, I only sent Christmas cards to close family.  This year, I hope to send to everyone on my list.  I'm well on my way, but still need about 40 more. Here's one, so only 39 left! :D 

My image is Bugaboo Stamps' Merry Christmas to Ewe.  I printed it on Kraft, colored some with my Spectrum Noir markers, and scribbled with a white Gelly Roll pen for the wool.  It was cut out with Cross Stitched Rectangles from Cheapo Dies.  My papers were from my scrap box.

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I made my card this week using stuff that was out and laying around on my craft table (except the dots)...

My DP is Crate Paper Blossom.  The flowers are all Prima, and the sentiment was sitting there having been previously stamped and die cut, so I don't remember where the clear sentiment is from.

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This week's card is one I made to send my daughter at college...

My DP is Bo Bunny Early Bird Collection.  The main panel is embossed with Darice Ranunculus. My clear sentiment is Neat & Tangled "Bloom" that I stamped with VersaColor Lapizlazuli and heat embossed with Ranger Ultra Thick embossing powder. (LOVE this stuff!!  See how thick it gets in the close up below.)  I finished it off with some adhesive dots.

Sharing in your sorrow - TMS #519

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  My card this week is a sympathy card.  I've needed too many of these recently so am trying to replenish my supply. 

I stamped my sentiment from JustRite Sympathy Handwritten Sentiments on Kraft and heat embossed it with clear EP.  I'm so proud of myself... ALL of my paper is from my scrap box.  :)   I used Spellbinders Standard Circles, Petite Scalloped Circles, Darice Swirl Vine, a MS border punch, and KI Memories adhesive ribbon.

It's time for Sparkles Christmas Challenge #104 - Winter Wishes!  Here's my snowman wishing you some warm winter wishes!

I used Simon Says Stamp Build a Snowman clear stamps and Snowman Parts dies for the snowman and sentiment.  My DP is American Crafts Jack Frost.  The snowy hill is Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes embossed with CB Swiss Dots EF.

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I've got a few cards to show you with this sketch.  Unlike the last time when I kept creating because I wasn't happy with my cards, this time, I had extra time plus I was happy and really enjoyed the sketch so kept playing.  :) 

The first is a fun one, once again, using an image ready-and-waiting in my stash...

The image and sentiment are from Doodle Pantry, and the DP is Sassafras "take note."  I used CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles and Die-versions Stitched Circles.

My last cards are more serious.  These are for encouragement when a friend is going through a really rough time...

I've used this verse before, but cannot remember where I got it and cannot find it in any of my digi stamps, so I can't give credit.  My DP is Prima Nature Garden.  I used CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  My flowers are Prima and I used self-adhesive trims.

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I've got a fun card to show you today with macarons.  My daughter loves them and even has made some yummy ones for us! 

My image and sentiment are digital stamps "Macaron Friends" from Graciellie Design.  I colored the macarons with Spectrum Noir markers.  My DP is Crate Paper Bloom.  I used Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics, Spellbinders Classic Squares, and Cross Stitched Ovals from Cheapo Dies.  The yellow piece is embossed with CB Swiss Dots.

Ready to throw some snowballs - SCC #103

The first of the month means it is time for Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  This month is #103 - It's Snowtime!  Let's see some snow!

For my card, I found a cute image already colored and waiting to be used.  This is Mimi Winter from Stamp Fairy. [This shop has been closed for several years, so this shows how many images I have waiting for attention!!]  She is colored with Spectrum Noir markers.  I got the dots on the scarf by using the tip of my blender.  Cute effect!  She's cut out with CottageCutz Double Stitched Ovals.  My DP is fancy pants winterland.  I fussy cut around the mittens.  The base panel is cut with Kat Scrappiness Wonky Stitched Rectangles. The ric rac is My Favorite Things Stitched Ric Rac. (Told you I was loving this die!)  I stamped the MME clear sentiment and cut it out with Simon Says Stamp Tiny Tags.

Summer-y thank you - TMS #514

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Today, I have 3 cards to show you!  I made one because I need to replenish my stash of sympathy cards, made another because I wasn't really happy with the first, then made another and I liked it more than either of the other two.  

My first card (actually the third one made), is a summery thank you... (As you'll see, I stretched the sketch sideways.)

My bicycle image is an AC clear stamp stamped with Hero Arts Navy.  The clear sentiment is Bo Bunny.  My paper is the Paper Studio Country Road.  For dies, I used MFT Stitched Ric Rac, Die-versions Stitched Circles, and CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  


I've also got a cute baby card for you today.  At least, it's cute IMHO. ;)   And it's also my opinion that this would be a baby card.  It wouldn't necessarily have to be for a baby, but I think that's how I'll categorize it...

This card uses MME Fine and Dandy "True Blue" clear stamps and papers that I've had forever!  I stamped the owl and zigzag in VersaColor Laurel Leaf and heat embossed with clear EP.  The bow is VersaColor Old Rose. I colored the owl with Copic BG10.  I used Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics and CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  


And finally (thought the first one created) is a sympathy card...

My sentiment is JustRite Sympathy Handwritten Sentiments.  My paper is Heidi Grace Daydream. I used Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics and MFT Stitched Ric Rac dies.
