Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  July is almost over and this is our last hurrah for our 15th birthday celebration, too. :(  It's been so fun to revisit some sketches from many years ago!   Here's my card for this challenge...

My paper is Prima Epiphany.  The image is a FTHS digi that I colored.  My sentiment is Sweet n Sassy Stamps Script Sentiments.  I layered 2 punched hearts for some dimension on the hearts.

Precious baby girl - C4G #230

Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!!   For this challenge, we want to see card for a baby girl.  Here is my card...

I kind of cheated on this one... I let my paper do most of the work.   I cut around 3 blocks and rounded the corners.  It is the Paper Studio Sweet Pea.  I trimmed down and rounded the corners on a Recollections tag then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment that is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps Oh Baby.  The twine and ribbon are from my stash.

A pair of fun birthday cards - TMS #766

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  We're enjoying our 15th anniversary celebration and continue this week with our cards... I've got 2 fun cards to show you...

The first is just like the sketch... 

My paper is Pebbles Birthday Wishes.  I'm pretty sure that my sentiment is a From the Heart Stamps digi.  The cupcake is from TH Blueprint Assortment.  I fussy cut it.  I used MFT Die-namics Stitched Ric Rac for the banner behind the sentiment panel.  

For this one, I stretched the sketch widthwise.  My paper is Bo Bunny Early Bird.  My image and sentiment are From the Heart Stamps.  (Can you tell that I am still using digis I printed many, many years ago?!?)  I fussy cut the cat a popped him up with foam tape for some dimension.  The banner behind is MFT Die-namica Banner Strip.

My paper is all from DCWV Mariposa Matstack.  My butterflies were created with Sizzix TH Detailed Butterflies.  My sentiment is from Raisin Boat You Said It!  My rectangles were cut with CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.

Birthday tulips - C4G #229

 Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!!   Remember that we are a challenge for cards for girls, so this might be a real challenge for some because our theme is "shades of blue"!  But blue can be feminine. :)  Here's my card...

My image and sentiment are Sweet n Sassy Stamps Spring Blossom.  I colored the tulips with Copics.  The frames are Spellbinders A2 Fancy Postage Edge.  I colored a few adhesive dots in a dark blue to add.  The twine is from my stash.

 Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This is the second of our anniversary celebration posts!  I loved this sketch in 2014, and I still love it now!! 

I grabbed a couple of pieces from my scrap pile, Impression Obsession Scribble Circles dies, CB Swiss Dots embossing folder, Die-version Curly Words Hello, a MS branch punch, and flower from my stash and this is the result. :)

Here's our sketch...  This was #246 from 4/22/2014.  This sketch was created by Jessi Fogan, a former DT member.  Jessi was such a fun and sweet teamie!! She had to step back for health reasons, and we lost her in 2018.

 July 1st... this year is officially half over!  And it's Canada day!  And it's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenges!   Our theme for July is "a handmade ornament or ornaments."  I added ornaments to my card...

My ornaments and sentiment are from Concord & 9th Yuletide Ornament stamps set.  I stamped on the silver paper with VersaMark and heat embossed with burgundy EP.   The sentiment is heat embossed with WOW! Ebony Super Fine EP.

True friends - C4G #228

 It's time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Our theme for this challenge is "inspired by a book."  The first book that came to mind that I could showcase on a card was "Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery.  I read this book (and the whole series) many, many times as a girl!!  [Growing up in Atlantic Canada, I was able to visit Green Gables (the tourist site) and Prince Edward Island many times.]  I loved the book so much that when the movie came out in the '80's, all I could think was, "The book was better!" LOL

So here is Anne with an "e"!! :) 

My image and sentimen are "Anne of Green Gables" from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  All my paper is bits and pieces from my scrap box.  My dies are Darice Swirl Vine, Sizzix TH Small Tattered Flowers, SSS Tiny Tags, and a MS branch punch.

Congratulations and Father's Day and Christmas, oh my! - TMS #762

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  So last week, I had 2 cards with the sketch.  This week, I have 3 to show you!  When I saw the sketch, I could not think of what to do with it!  Then the ideas came flooding and I tried them all. :D  

Card #1...

I cut a panel of AC My Baby paper.  I cut a couple of layers of pink with Die-namics Rocking Horse.  I remembered that I had some mulberry paper from my days of trying to make tear bears, so I made the cloud with it.   My sentiment is from Bo Bunny Sentiments.  

Card #2...

My paper is Pink Paislee Outfitters.  The shape behind "Dad" is the outline die of Spellbinders Medium Peony.  (I wanted an irregular shape!)  The heat embossed sentiment is The Project Bin Classic Man, and "Dad" is Sweet n Sassy Stamps Dad Word Die.  

Card #3...

This was actually the first idea I had, but it ended up being the one I liked the least.  It's ok, but didn't have the "wow" factor I was hoping for.  It's Poppystamps Stained Glass Snowflake die with Poppystamps Stained Glass Background.  This sentiment is one I use a lot!  It was a gift with an order years ago with no label.  The snowflake frame is glitter paper and the sentiment is silver paper, so it is pretty IRL.  Just nothing spectacular.  Oh well.  It will mail well.  LOL

Strength for today - TMS #761

Happy Tuesday to you!  Another Tuesday, and another challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I've actually got 2 cards to show you today...  I absolutely LOVE both sentiments! 

Here's my first card...

My paper is MME Paris & Co.  (On my laptop the paper looks blue, but IRL it's a soft seafoam green.  I hope you can see it for real. LOL)  My sentiment is Sweet n Sassy Stamps Hymn Blocks.  My button is Papertrey Ink Buttoned Up #1 and the twine is from my stash. 

Here's a second card that I made that I think has a more masculine feel to it...

I used paper from my scrap box for this one.  My sentiment is Sweet n Sassy Stamps His Peace.   I inked the sentiment with TH tea dye before removing it from the Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics die. The button and twine are from my stash.

My happy place - C4G #227

 It's time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Our theme is "summer fun" for this challenge and my mind immediately went to this camper die.  

For me, summer fun meant we went to the lake.  My grandparents had a small cottage on a lake, and five of my aunts and uncles (so that meant cousins!) had cottages in a row.  My grandparents' cottage wasn't big enough to house them plus all 6 of our family, so we kids slept in the camper.   We spent our summers swimming, boating, water skiing, and having fun with sleepovers in the camper. It's my favorite place in all the world!!  (We had a pink Shasta, so I had to color it this way.)  When my grandparents passed away, they left to cottage to my mother, so we continued to spend wonderful summer days there.  Sadly, several years ago, the lake rose well above flood stage, and the cottage was destroyed.  My parents now have a different camper there, and some of my grown family and I will be there next month!  Can't wait!!!  (Below I added a pic of my kids on the dock at sunset several years ago.) 

I used Sunny Studio Happy Camper dies and sentiment, Pebbles Woodland Forest DP, Sizzix Cloudy Day EF, Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes, and Simon Says Stamp Tiny Tags.

I started with Recollections Portobello Road DP for the BG and flowers.  They are Sizzix TH Small Tattered Flowers.  My sentiment is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps Heartfelt Thoughts that I cut with CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles... stretched. :)   I love this sentiment set and will be using it a lot!!

Use your dies - SCC #161

 Happy June 1st!  It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge! This month's theme is "use dies."  I'm not sure if I ever make a card without using dies, so this was easy peasy for me. ;)

I made a frame using Scalloped Stitched Rectangles and A2 Matting Basics.  My "tree" is CottageCutz Holiday Greetings Tree.  It's hard to tell, but the card base has some shimmer to it and the silver paper I used is very shiny.  So pretty IRL!!

Shopping is always a good idea - C4G #226

Helo again!  It's time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  We've got a fun theme for this go around... "heals and handbags."   I love both new shoes and new purses, so this was fun for me!  Here's my card...

This was pretty simple to put together... the paper did all the work!  It is Carta Bella Metropolitan Girl.  I cut the main panel, square, and buttons from it. The buttons are Papertrey Ink Buttoned Up #1.  My sentiment is Spellbinders Shopping Run Sentiments.  

Now I want to go shopping! LOL

HUGS - TMS #758

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I'm thankful this was quick and easy to put together.  My husband and I have been down with a terrible flu (or possibly Covid) all weekend.  But I was able to get my simple card made...  I was kind of out of it... it took over 15 minutes to cut 4 rectangles and 3 hearts (I layered) and put them together! :P 

All the paper is from my scrap pile and the "hugs" die is a new one - as in had for awhile but never used.  It is Poppystamps Heart Hugs.  

Here's our sketch... and as you see with my card (and some others on the design team), a shape means any shape.

Bridal shower congratulations - TMS #757

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  My card is a bridal shower card... 

This was so simple to make, and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!  My paper is DCWV Pastel Patterns.  I used Poppystamps Raining Frame and flipped the umbrella to the pattern on the other side.  I cut it again to get the handle from Kraft.  I added some small flowers from Sizzix TH Small Tattered Flowers with some greenery with MS Branch punch.  My die cut sentiment finished it off.

Just BEE-cause - C4G #225

Hi!  Glad you stopped by!  It's time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  May 20 is World Bee Day, so that is our theme for this challenge.  Here's my bee-utiful card... ;) 

My paper is Crate Paper Bloom.  My images are There She Goes Bee Happy.  The honeycomb and tiny bee die cuts are Sizzix Impresslits Sweet Friend.  This set also has words and an EF which I used on the pink panel.  It embosses and cuts the hexagons.

hello - TMS #756

 Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  For this challenge, we are collaborating with Double Trouble's Twisted Sister Challenge.  They are adding our sketch to their options.  I also played along with Thing #1: in honor of "lost sock memorial day," find unused and unmatched items for our cards.  **Be sure to go there and enter your card, too.  

My image is from Birdie Brown.  My sentiment is Bo Bunny.  I often use my scrap box for cards, but tend to grab what I can see.  For this card, I dug through and found 4 pieces that I cannot tell you what pad they are from, but I can tell you that they are all from different paper pads.  Definitely, unused and unmatched like "lost socks"!
